Whew, the win was too close for comfort. Our poor free-throw shooting almost killed us.

Did Battier play this well when he was in Memphis? It's amazing how consistently good this guy has been.

TRACY learned what he should do when he is not TMAC, that is best out from recent two games.

My opinion, if Tracy can average 20 points and 8 assits per game, Rocets would be second round playoff team.

hell of a game from battier tonight. 25 big points. it seemed like he hit shots whenever we needed them. and as always he played excellent defense!

Shane Battier is playing out of his mind. His corner 3pts is just deadly.

The Rudy Gay, Swift for Battier trade looks lopsided in favor of Rox in the first year.

And I am about to eat crow.

 

Tonight's game was not close because of poor adjustments on the bench. It was because of low energy. The guys were literally slumping their shoulders at times. I don't know what it was, but they were just sluggish.

But, they won.

That's what is interesting about this team. Despite whatever happens, they just win.

 

They never show the post game show on ESPN. Instead they show it on ESPNEWS, they are showing it right now. Battier interview included.

10-21 / 28 pts is good D??? What the heck are you smoking??? That's like saying Eddy Curry played great D on Yao by putting a body on him after Yao drops 35 pts on him.

 

A win. My bad for not having faint in the team. Tonight is an off night for TMAC and the others stepped up. 5 3pts for the Superglue Guy. 10 points late in the 4th. Excellent defense.

I gave the Nuggets credit earlier for changing up their defense (especially with Camby ignoring Mutombo, and doubling T-mac on the wings). But, whatever credit they had was lost when they stopped defending the pick and roll (even though we ran it 5 straight times at the end of the game).

 

Battier gives all the credit to T-Mac. THAT'S RIGHT DD, T-MAC'S PRESENCE WON US THE GAME! Enough of the "mentally weak" BS.
