"They suffered a 102-77 loss in a game that ended with both Kobe Bryant and Phil Jackson in the locker room early. Jackson was ejected in the third quarter while Bryant left the bench with 3:33 remaining after suffering a groin strain in the second quarter. " http://www.dailynews.com/sports/ci_4990073 "The Lakers had not lost a game by more than 16 points, but the injury absences of Lamar Odom and Kwame Brown finally resonated against a Houston team out to avenge two previous losses to the Lakers." http://www.ocregister.com/ocregister/sports/abox/article_1541373.php "Bryant had 20 points and six rebounds, but he suffered a minor left groin sprain late in the second quarter and was not the same, as his 6-for-18 shooting demonstrated. " http://www.pe.com/sports/basketball/breakout/stories/PE_Sports_Local_D_lakers_11.3abbc2e.html Ok ok, read all of these articles on last nights game, you can see sportswriters making up allot of excuses, Oh how lakers lost because bryant was injured in the second quarter, how they where without odom or brown. We did not have Tmac at full throttle, we dont have Yao, our leading scorer, no Kirk Snyder, no Wells!! Whose on the disadvantage?
at least the rockets writers and fans have this particular number on the lakers.. not to mention a bunch of others. we don't blame our losses on anything other than bad play. but then again, it is LA, and people over there are notoriously ignorant.
Hmmmm...who is a bigger loss? Odom or Yao?? Wasn't Yao averaging over 25 ppg and it seemed like Tracy was having problems with his back again. Make all the excuses in the world you want, but we still beat you guys bad!!!
nope we had those earlier games.. i blame it on rafer with his dumb turn overs and poor plays down the stretch.. he finally did better yesterday and we won
we blame all of our losses last season on the injury of Bob Sura. If Sura was healthy, we would've won a championship.
For Rox, the biggest loss of this season till now was only twelve points, 92-104 vs Detroit on Nov 18th. Amazing!

I mean, I'm not the biggest fan of the teddy bear, but he is quite obviously a bear and not a mouse or anything.
Just goes to show how competitive this team is and how prepared they are night in and night out. i think even in that game the score got a bit bloaded due to some FTs at the end. its a real exciting time to be a rockets fan right now and the best part is that our back court is getting healthier and when yao gets back well the rest of the league's coaches and teams will take notice even if the media doesnt
