Those are some valid points and wouldnt necessarily call them stupid - the better record and wins in both matchups against the team higher than them.

ESPN having some "deal" with the Rockets and out to irritate Laker fans is terrrrrrribley off, just bad. Laker fans complaining about getting no love lol. Surprised so many people pay attention to those rankings anyway but if the Lakers were a spot over the Rockets it wouldnt have much ripple effect at all and would be accepted I think. But oh well, hell with em

And they would be right to think that.

Except for Lakers, Yankees and Cowboys fans though. They just have to be literally r****ded if they think the national media hates them.

it goes beyond not just talking about them.

kruk can't stand the 'stros. neither can steve phillips. it's a joke.

as my friend who is a huge colorado rockie fan says, there is nothing objective about Baseball Tonight.

How about this for some discussion: the rockets beat the spurs, mavs, wizards, bulls, and jazz this year. i dont think there's any other team that has done that this year. And those dumbasses still think that we should be ranked below the lakers?

in response to the two ridiculous losses to LA.. i have 3 points.

    1) T-mac did not even set foot in the buildings.

    2) Kobe gets a foul call everytime someone breathes on him.

    3) Rafer alston was shooting horrendously at the time.

well thats because they cancelled out Tmacs injuries with Lamar's injurys....

Lakers fans are like mindless robots...its like they all think the same because they are told too....

I remember, all this Bynum talk last year... on the various bullboards...

and sure enough every... Laker fan I met was talking as if Bynum would be the next Kareem...shortly....

when asked about Yao... even with the great 20 game stretch he had...

it was like o he is soft...he defers too much... etc etc...

when asked have you actually watched him play lately...?

it was like ummm no...saw him last year or 2 years ago...

Lakers get no love? The Lakers are one of the most media-centric teams in sports, up there w/ the Yankees. I guess these guys cry at anything. And I'm not even talking about Kobe.

He sure is. I think he predicted us to be last in the conference before the season started.
