Everyone makes some mistakes on defense. I don't think anyone can seriously argue that Alston is a better option defensively than Spanoulis. That's just crazy. His problem is primarily on the offensive end . Rafer can't shoot but he takes care of the ball. Luther can shoot, but he's turnover-prone. Unfortunately, Spanoulis can't shoot or take care of the ball. Personally, I'd like Spanoulis to get some minutes when Lucas is just outsized by the opposing PG.
