you all must undertsand that pakistan is in a difficult situation right now. its either they let the united states come in and create bases which would piss off the taliban. the taliban is right next door and pakistan is not a 1st world country that has many educated people. many 3rd world country people do not go to school and can easily be brainwashed by the taliban. this would cause a war within pakistan too. so if they agree to let USA have the airspace: taliban will cause problems within USA if they do not agree: bombings or trade embargos by USA also, people have mentioned that a war with china is inevitable, so if the USA has bases in pakistan, the chinese might get a little paranoid, since the only barrier from pakistan and china is the himalayas. im from pakistan, and i dont want either things to happen (im talking about the consequences) either way my family in pakistan has a chance of getting killed, even though they are innocent civilians who do not hate america, they are just like the normal people that were in the WTC.
