Deke was simply incredible with back to back to back double boards and blocking shots and showing defensive presence on the paint. Deke should ask for a raise. He made Wallace look like a NBDL player. The only reason Wallace got his contract is because there are no real centers anymore. Deke would outplay Wallace every day and twice on Sunday. If Deke was a free agent he would easily pull 9 mill/year If we do something special this year, Deke will be the key and the glue that kept our season from falling apart. With all of Tmac's greatness we couldn't do it without the extra shots that Deke provides night in and night out and with him anchoring the defense Deke is our 3rd MVP

Since this season for some reason. He's cost the Rox at least 2 technical fouls now for waving the finger after a block to include tonight.
They made a no taunting rule and included the finger wag,...I believe that was a few years ago, but I could be wrong.
Deke is def on the 'roids! On a serious note, it is great to see him step up. I know he is seeing A LOT of minutes, but he has done well. Can't wait for Yao to come back though. With everyone playing like this, we are going to be something else...
Well they never have applied that rule to the finger wag until now. I think this case was just an overzealous ref.

Sure looks like Deke found a gas station in the off season and filled his tank. Hope his tank doesn't have a hole in it. On another note, we need to vote Deke into the ASG.
there were times last year where I felt like Deke was breaking down physically and couldnt even give us very many quality minutes. He is sure proving me wrong now averaging over 13.5 rebounds per game since yao got injured. you are the man deke, keep it up.
What Deke is doing is just incredible for a man his age. Leading the NBA in rebs per 48 mins. Maybe deke had a little talk with Roger Clemens.
I think the rule was set a few years ago that he cannot wag finger directly to his victim, but he can wag it to the crowd.
