Too many injuries in the NBA these days. Do you think this has something to do with new NBA rules? Or schedule is just to tight that makes the players move vulnerable to injuries? But for Detroits and Spurs, they're one of the tough defensive teams in the league, I wonder why they're able to avoid this kind of incidents. I haven't heard one of their players getting hurt big time due to collisions on court. Or I may be mistaken. On our side, we got Hayes, Snyder and now Yao got hit badly. I think this kind of thing can be avoided by implementing better rules. This too much bumping in the post can ruin big men so easily. Anyways, happy merry Christmas to ya'll. Good health to Rockets.
well we are rocket fans so we pay attention to it. . shaq has been injured forever..... odom is suppose was to miss 6-8 weeks.. kristic and kenyon martin are out for the year... duncan was out for a long period of time too.. what sucks for us is Tmac is just injury prone while yao is just unlucky like the guys above.. so it seems horrible for the rockets since we lose both our stars and our bench just cant make up for it. the spurs can weather duncan being out. and the lakers apparently are doing decent with out odom.. and did pretty well when kobe was out earlier this season.. i just dont see the rockets doing that. unless a miracle happens and tmac returns to his orlando form..
injuries happen and its part of the game... but it does suck that the last two years have been so injury prone to us.. damn it.. i cant sleep .. oh well. . guess novak, and the bench will get more mins to develop now
Looks like Michael Redd will be out for a while MILWAUKEE, Jan. 8 (AP) -- Milwaukee Bucks guard Michael Redd will be out four-to-six weeks with a left knee injury, the team announced on Monday. Redd, the NBA's fifth-leading scorer at 27.7 points per game, hurt the knee during the Bucks' 95-86 loss to Cleveland on Friday night. He strained his patellar tendon, which connects the kneecap to the shin bone. After evaluation and further testing by the team's medical staff, Redd will undergo rehabilitation for up to six weeks. A two-time winner of the Eastern Conference Player of the Week award this season, Redd is on pace to increase his scoring average for the seventh consecutive year. Redd also averages 3.8 rebounds, 2.2 assists and 1.3 steals. http://www.nba.com/nba_news/redd_070108.html
