Just thought I passed this along ...

FYI, a close friend of mine was the starting PG for FIU, where Raja played college ball. My friend just started a basketball academy down here in Miami. Eddie Jones, Raja Bell and a few other pro players allowed my friend to freely use their name in marketing. Anyhow, Raja stopped by one day and we asked him who is the hardest for him to guard in the NBA. He said Lebron James, because he is so strong.

Raja seems like a nice dude. I guess everything comes out when he is competing on the court

This one of the guys I would expect being hard to guard. I expected this thread to contain some sort of no-namer.

Lebron is pretty tough to guard since you're not allowed to even look at him hard

Sorry to disappointed you. I was expecting him to say Kobe though. Well, at least we know who and the reason why. He emphasized strength and not skills or athleticism, which I found interesting. Anyhow, it was cool to be able to talk to a pro player personally and get some honest personal info.

If I see him again at the academy, I will ask him about how it is to play against Yao and Mac.

I'm sure Bargnani was pretty hard after Raja kicked him in the balls.

I lived in Miami all my life and played ball growing up in the FIU pick up games they would have, and sometime players like C. Arroyo and Raja Bell would come out so i got to gaurd them at some points and what i remember is that Raja was a pretty cool guy. Carlos Arroyo in the other hand was a baller but a dick, i remember him getting suspended for punching an assistant coach back in FIU.

P.s. Whos the ex FIU PG thats doing these camps??

I'm sure Lebron is hard for him to guard considering it's a pretty big mismatch. Bell is an average to small SG while Lebron is closer to PF size than SF size.

Raja guarding Lebron is like Diaw guarding Shaq.
