Baseball will start back up Monday

    Baseball will not be played this weekend and they intend to start the season back up on Monday. No word yet as to how postponed games will be handled.

    They were apparently going to start back Friday, but were "thrown a curve" when the NFL chose to postpone their games. MLB was under the impression that the NFL would play this weekend after receiving encouragement from the government.

    College Football has now posted almost all the games as well.

    So baseball is postponing games because they feared a PR disaster since the NFL did? That's pretty lame.

    Not that I supported playing on a particular date. I just think that's a poor reason to delay.

    A matchbox twenty and Train concert I had tickets for in Little Rock, AR on Friday also got cancelled.
