Check this out. This is hilarious.

    http://blogs.chron.com/franblinebury/2007/01/lord_of_the_rings_rockets_100_1.html

One of the comments (the third one) to this particular blog was from "Clutch". I don't know if it's the Clutch from this forum, but it definitely looks like it.

I didn't even know Van Gundier was banned. That is hilarious. :D

I doubt very seriously that was Clutch.

one reason...he rarely comes out and says anything publically about who he has banned.

secondary reason...he certainlywoudnt waste that on a Chron blog comment...if he wanted to say VG was banned, he would have said it here where it would have made more of an impression on people that post stupid crap constantly.

for whatever his faults towards the end...Van Gundier *used* to be a decent poster.

I think he created this thread to advertise that blog.

Considering a month ago, 90% of this board was cursing tracy left and right, the man has a point. the Brokeback jokes or the Fatmac jokes are looking pretty stupid now. or atleast almost as stupid as the Individuals who were saying it. half of those fools have dissapeard. once Yao comes back, they will be back.

Very true. I was unaware that he was banned...wonder what set that off?

And the GARM can use mocking. There are far too many people here who want people fired/traded/dumped... or tank the season because one player goes down  ... and there's been hating on ALL our players. It's ridiculous.

And for those consistently negative posters...look at the team emerging that this management and coaching staff have brought together and developed. Then kindly shut-up.

    hard to tell.

he keeps disappearing (along with his posts) and reappearing just when you think he is gone.
If not for his past history of good posts, he would have been permenantly banned (if he isnt already at this point)

the way I see it, Clutch keeps giving him chances to come back after his timeouts, but then he loses it again

    well said.
I feel for Van Gundier, its the behaviors you talk about that I think drove him over the edge.

I used to try to call out the morons, but since the last membership drive, they have just become too numerous to try to argue with.

whats that expression about not arguing with idiots since they drag you down and beat you with their experience? ;)

Fran did it again with the "over-reactive fan" schtick. His "comedy" is getting old (it was old by the second half of the last game). And I like his regular style. It was like reading a summary of the game thread except with a generally rational perspective. The past two games have been like reading an actual game thread, except 10 times more annoying because it's so over-the-top and lamely transparent.

I hope he goes back to a normal blog tomorrow.

I really hate this kind of comments/articles, or whatever u want to call them. unfortunately, we have a lot of people that love 2 do that here at clutchfans including the infamous Van Gundier. I really hate this kind of "whining about the whining". it makes it seem like Rafer is perfect, or JVG is the greatest coach ever. now I know some people overreact sometimes and say stupid things like "this is Yao's team" or "Tank the season" like R2K said, but the Rafer and JVG criticism is valid.

from a guy who posts on here way too much, the world doesn't revolve around this site. he could be making fun of of talk show callers, talking heads on the radio and television, anyone. this isn't the only place for overreaction.

Fran's blog entries have been immature and unintelligent. I expect more from a professional journalist even if it is only on his blog. His basketball knowledge is lacking and it appears his talent for analysis and writing is limited. He'll ride the wave of sarcasm for as long as he can because it allows him to be intellectually lazy.

    completely agree Cohen

we must remember if you are going to throws sticks and stones and call people names and rip shreads off them (especially when most of have athletic ability of pee wee herman) you have to expect something back!!!

mock away Fran, and on behald of the minority with a sense of humour can we have more wit and sarcasm (do a search of dictionary.com for sarcasm most of you)
