judging by the downloads of the games not broadcast on the p2p services, I'd say you are wrong.

my tracker is getting tons of hits from overseas.

btw...King Cheetah is not a hater for not caring about the AS stuff, I dont care either, and I'll guarantee you Im the furthest thing from a "hater"

Eventho Yao will get voted in, he will probably not play due to his rehab...so as far as Im concerned...I couldnt care less about the AS stuff if I tried

T-Mac's not leading is influenced by the r****ded Rockets fans who think they're doing T-Mac a favor by not voting for him.

A damn All-Star game is not gonna affect his back injury. He deserves it simply because he is that good, got screwed over last year, and injuries have hurt his confidence/emotions.

More reason why McGrady needs the Rockets fan's support and votes: The Nuggets organization is pushing hard for Iverson to get voted in. On top of the Nuggets fans there are I'm sure a lot of Sixer fans still loyal to Iverson so he has two teams of fans voting for him.

A.I. making case for all-star recognition

    By Chris Dempsey
    Denver Post Staff Writer
Article Launched: 01/05/2007 01:00:00 AM MST

For seven consecutive seasons, Allen Iverson has found his name among the top two Eastern Conference guards on all-star ballots.

Now, he's trying to make his first in the Western Conference.

Iverson will be on the court with guard Kobe Bryant tonight when the Nuggets face the L.A. Lakers at the Staples Center. But Feb. 18, they could be teammates at the All-Star Game in Las Vegas. The NBA released its third returns in all-star voting Thursday, and Iverson trails Houston's Tracy McGrady by just 48,479 votes for the right to start alongside Bryant, who leads with 1,386,477 votes.

The Nuggets are pushing fans to vote through promotions during games and on telecasts on Altitude.

Paper balloting runs through Jan. 15, and online voting continues until Jan. 21. Iverson's totals from votes recorded while he was in Philadelphia have been transferred to the Western Conference.

    bullcrap

you really need to actually watch the games...may I offer you a download or three?
I havent seen him look as confident on the court as he does now since late 04/05 .
His confidence ws due to his back....now the back doesnt hurt and his confidence quickly went up by leaps and bounds.

the NBA LOVES you (and others that think like you do) ..the more hooplas yall make out of this popularity contest, the more money they make.

    Keep it up....

I am not too worried long-term because IMO Iverson wouldn't even be close to McGrady/Kobe if it wasn't for his votes carrying over from the Leastern Conference. Moreover, his numbers are inflated based on the fact that he's being voted for in both conferences, a luxury that no other player has this season.

Based on what exactly, his three games played for the Nuggets? The guy didn't have a sparkling year in Philly, his team absolutely sucked and he became frustrated and asked out...and that was in the Leastern Conference and the miserable Atlantic division.

Meanwhile, all McGrady has done this year is win and carry his team on his bad back when he needed to...Iverson has failed miserably in doing just that, and last I checked winning is rewarded in this league.

Iverson, like McGrady, is a big name and he will get votes just for that, but let's not confuse the facts...the Rockets are one of the top teams in the West and it's largely thanks to McGrady's contribution, even with his struggles early on in the season. Yao and McGrady deserve this honor as much as Kobe, Nash and other superstars on winning teams do. You take McGrady out of our lineup and we're as good as the NOKis and Sonics of the league.

    Quit the self-hatred, guys...

LOL. You can pool votes from the rest of the centers in the West including Erica, and you still cannot beat Yao.

Here's a reminder. Any teammate of Yao deserves a vote from a Yao fan to play in ASG. That's the Yao Rule.

The only non-Rocket player I'd vote for in the WC is Nash, but I will first make sure he won't take McGrady's spot.

    Unnecessary!

Chinese fans love Tmac, and were, are and will always be trying their best to vote him in as a starter, not to mention that, based on the rumor that Yao would miss the ASG, Tracy might be the only chance of Rox exposure on the court that day.

No, as I know the optic fibers under Pacific Ocean have been damaged since the Asian earthquake a week ago. And the communication between China and US are heavily affected. They are still fixing the fiber networks, and it will take around another week. Before then you don't expect lots of votes from China. Gosh they can't even access Yahoo or MSN due to the cross-ocean fiber broken. This also explains why less Chinese fans visit CC recently.

Actually Taiwan is only slightly affected, the fibers that were damaged are US-China fibers.

We'll that sounds good for T-Mac's votes.

Hopefully there will be a massive influx of Chinese voting once their connection to NBA.com works again and we will be safe!

WHY??? Were you guys hoping he didn't make the All-Star game last year? His back is FINE. I don't know about Patterson saying he'll never have a back injury again, but if he can play well in regular season games, why are you worrying about him hurting his back in an exhibition game!?

Do you know nothing about back spasms? You can get a spasm getting out of bed, standing up, or even sneezing. Thankfully, T-mac doesn't think like you do. Then he'd never get back to his old self.

    VOTE T-MAC!
