People who don't live in Houston will have no idea how to answer the questions about the Summit, since they haven't been there before. I can answer 1 or two of your questions though. 1. Do they wear Spalding? I know that Olajuwon's signature shoe is made by them. 2. Moses Malone, Clyde Drexler, Hakeem Olajuwon 3. I know Charles and Hakeem are both married. Olajuwon was married through a pre-arranged marriage. Matt Bullard are all married. 10. 86-87 Fleer
here's the ones I think I know, or have a smartass answer for (just the 1st, actually) 1)What brand of shoes do the Rockets wear? I'll have to watch closely tonight when Cato sticks one of them up Pippen's... 2)What former UH Alumni have played for Rockets? Big E, Dream, Mack, Herrera, Drexler, and Micheaux - I don't know the complete list, but I think I'm leaving one out... Tracy Moore? 3)What is the capcity crowd at the Summit? used to be 16,016, but I think it's gone up ... 16,256? 4)What was Hakeem Olajuwons official nickname at UH before he was called "Dream" hmmmm - Nigerian Nightmare? Or was that Okoye? 7)What is Houston's all-time Postseason record? 100-99
#1- LOL keeley #2-everyone mentioned, except for Moses. He never even went to college! #3-16,285 #4- Jellybean (i read this in his autobiography) #5- Dream, Barkley, Bullard...I know Shandon has a daughter and 'Los has a bunch of kids, but that doesn't really mean anything! #6-don't know for sure, but i bet it's their barbeque. It cost over 10 bucks to me to have their nasty barbeque dinner, and thats not including a drink! ------------------ "When point guards come to Houston now, they go to sleep the night before. They don't go to the movies, they don't go out, because they know they're going to be in for a big night. He(Francis)is the answer. They don't have to worry about a point guard for the next 10 years." -Kenny Smith
4)What was Hakeem Olajuwons official nickname at UH before he was called "Dream" Jellybean 10)What company produced Hakeem Olajuwon's "official" rookie basketball card? Fleer '86-87 is better known, but Star, '85. made one too.
Hakeem had 18 points, 16 rebounds, 10 assists and 11 blocks 3/29/1990 against Milwaukee. He had it taken away the game before, against Golden State. Amazing. Gets jipped out of a quadruple-double, then goes and gets one the next night. What more can you say? [This message has been edited by TheFreak (edited December 21, 1999).]
CBFC - Just bad stat-keeping, I think. If I remember correctly, they actually showed the assist (I think it was an assist) that they didn't count. Can you imagine if Hakeem had logged 2 quadruple-doubles?
I don't know very many of these answers, so I'll need some help! Answer anything you can.... 1)What brand of shoes do the Rockets wear? 2)What former UH Alumni have played for Rockets? 3)What is the capcity crowd at the Summit? 4)What was Hakeem Olajuwons official nickname at UH before he was called "Dream" 5)Who on the Rockets current roster is married? 6)What is the most expensive food at Summit? 7)What is Houston's all-time Postseason record? 8)Against what team did Hakeem Olajuwon have a quadruple double? What were the stats? 9) And against what team did Olajuwon have a quadruple double taken away? What were the stats? 10)What company produced Hakeem Olajuwon's "official" rookie basketball card?
