As fans that live mostly in Houston, I wanted to know who you are voting for. Just reply with a similar format as below. Please leave a brief explanation as to why you are voting for that player.

    W-G: T-Mac (no explanation required)
W-G: CP3 (I love the way he plays, well balanced for a PG)
    W-F: Battier (Because he's a rocket)
W-F: KG (Probably the most efficient and persistant player ever, love his fiery style)
W-C: Yao (no explanation required, really hope he will be able to play)

E-G: G. Arenas (Most entertaining player)
E-G: D. Wade (Love the way he plays)
E-F: Chris Bosh (Canada needs some love and I really don't know who else to vote for)
E-F: Paul Pierce (Favorite player after Yao)
E-C: Eddy Curry (I hate Shaq and D Ho)

Write in: Luther Head (I love Head!)

If there already was a thread like this, please feel free to lock. Thanks

    Good thread.

I really like your picks for the most part Qazi. I love the Rockets love!

My only complaint with your selections is Eddy Curry as East center. He did bad mouth Yao a bit earlier in the seaon when he said something to the effect that he wanted another shot at Yao because no one was able to stop him after a recent good stretch of games.

Also why the hate for Dwight Howard? Any specific reason?

    My picks:

    W-G: T-Mac (a Rocket)
    W-G: Cassell (an ex-Rocket)
    W-F: Battier (a Rocket)
W-F: Rashard Lewis (supporting the Houston guys)
    W-C: Yao (a Rocket)

    E-G: Francis (ex-Rocket)
    E-G: Ford (Houston guy)
E-F: Okafor (Houston guy is playing well)
    E-F: Turkoglu (see below)
E-C: Dwight Howard (I am really hoping Shaq does not get voted in and Howard is currently the only real competition

I want Yao and McGrady to be top vote getters so I make sure I don't vote for anyone that gets alot of votes like Kobe, LeBron, Wade, Vince Carter, etc. Besides Yao, T-Mac, and Battier I vote for players that I like that don't have a chance of being top vote getters and if there is no one I like then I vote for a scrub like Turkoglu. :)

The comment by Eddy Curry is more of a compliment imo. He thinks he is an elite center now and wants to take on Yao. It's sort of like a young contender who wants to take on the champ. Notice he didn't say Shaq or D Ho. He wanted to challenge the best center in the league which is Yao Ming. Yes, he's stupid enough to challenge him but I see it as a compliment.

D Ho? No hate for him directly but it's insulting how some say D Ho is the next great thing after Shaq. Yao is the uncontested torch bearer after Shaq and D Ho doesn't even come close atm.

The Luther Head write-in doesn't count unless you left someone off the ballot I believe.

The write-in is to vote for a player at a position when they are not listed on the ballot, correct me if I'm wrong.

I vote for scrubs and such other than T-Mac, Yao, and Battier so they can be the highest vote getters and so I don't add to the Kobe/LeBron/Wade vote count. ;)
