Oklahoma has cemented it's place as the laughingstock of college football. How could a team so vastly athletically superior be so completely and utterly dominated from beginning to end? This game should have been a blowout, instead Oklahoma showed one of the most pathetic performances in Football I've ever seen in my life.
The ending of that game was almost as exciting as this: <object width="425" height="350"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/cUeyOuS70eI"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/cUeyOuS70eI" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350"></embed></object> almost..
People need to start giving boise state credit for being a good football team. if OU is a laughing stock, then what does that make every other team below them on the totem pole? And yeah Sam, greatest game ever. Period.
Well they did tie it up and take the lead in the last minute of the game and also score a touchdown on the first play of OT. This game could've very easily been a choke for Boise. OU came up big at the end. Boise came up BIGGER!
Someone from Idaho will put it up on YouTube....that is if they have computers and cable in Idaho. DD
This is what happened the last time Boise played a decent team.. http://www.fanblogs.com/georgia/005616.php It isn't that Boise is that good, it's that Oklahoma is THAT BAD. O.U. has earned their place as a laughingstock and it's well deserved.
i don't want to defend zero u but they have a really good program.... they just failed to show up. and i couldn't be more happy about it.
Well, they only have the MPC COMPUTER Bowl in Boise every year. Boise's a great town and one of the few places I would leave the SW for... it's a lot like Austin in the late 70's in terms of feel... less music but more skiing.
I understand now. It's a great game and an amazing ending and story. There have been over a hundred years of college football and greater games with more on the line (including TWO national championship games) that are better games than this one.
wrong again. you're so vain, you prolly think this post is about you... doo doo.. has a catchy tune to it. but anyway, goliath vs. goliath isn't as good as peewee versus he-man.
Yeah, because this year's 13-0 team is the same as last year's 9-4 team. People love to bash the mid-majors and non-BCS schools in football and basketball, and every year, they prove people wrong, and then people stupidly do the same damn thing again the next year.
I consider determining the future of the BCS/college football more important than a single years national champion. Let me put it this way.. UT/USC determined a national champ.. BSU/OU might change the landscape of college football FOREVER. That's my reasoning. If I think BSU/OU is #1.. UT/USC is #1.00000000000001.. So you can turn off the defense mechanisms, Sammy.
Utah won a BCS game last year. The world did not stop. The BCS still exists. I'd love a playoff but this one game will do nothing to bring about a playoff. I hope I'm wrong but if Auburn 2 years ago did nothing to end it, BSU certainly will not.
