Liddell is seriously in Ortiz' head. You could just see it in how he fought tonight. No aggression, a reluctance to shoot... his eyes the whole night were fearful. That's unlike him. That Arlovski fight was the worst piece of officiating I've ever seen. Cruz obviously didn't speak enough English to know that the action was resumed, and Arlovski totally sucker punched him. That official (Herb Dean) ought to be banned. Arlovski kicked Cruz in the face, then Dean tried to raise them to their feet (obviously helping Arlovski's style). Dean then let Cruz talk him into resuming on the ground, but was unclear with the resumption of action. Then Cruz got sucker punched and the fight was over. Just atrocious. The announcers didn't even comment on it, which I thought was bizarre.
Wait till Rampage gets a shot at Liddell. Should be a great fight but Liddell got OWNED in their first fight. I'm also very much looking forward to Mirko Cro Cop destroying Tim Silvia.
Yeah, barring someone like Fedor coming over, Cro-Cop's going to make most everyone in the HW division his punk. I don't see anyone in what might be the UFC's worst division giving him any real trouble. Maybe Arlovski if he showed up for the fight with his head on straight and not shoved up his own @$$. Everyone else though (Sylvia, Cabbage, [insert name here]) will be his personal punching AND KICKING bag.
Cruz should have been ready for it. Dean gave the guys enough time to set up and get ready. While it was a quick shot, in no way to I think it was a sucker punch.

If he was on HGH he wouldn't have a gut. I didn't see the fight but Liddell typically carries some fat around his midsection even when he is in shape. Is that what you are talking about or does Chuck suddenly have the bodybuilder, extended "muscular" belly usually associated with heavy, heavy HGH use?
K-1 and Pride are two seperate organizations. K-1 is like kick boxing while Pride is similar to UFC, just without the cage and a few other rules. Personally I think Pride is superioir to UFC but the addition of Cro Cop makes UFC much tougher

Yeah Chuck always has a gut, he has always had a gut and probably always will.. Beer belly, he just drinks too much. Insane hitter, insane fighter, insane counter-attacker. Chuck rules and he just destroyed Tito, they should have saved Tito and called it in the first round but oh well.. Tito does have Jenna.. which makes me dislike him even more.
