Yeah. To bad I don't know squat about technological engineering. Of course I'm sure someone's already thought of this. And it wouldn't surprise me in the least if we already have the tech to make a book like this happen, but are just waiting until it becomes cheap enough to mass produce.
ipod is to the 2000s what the walkman was to the 80s. mp3 and mp4 (and other versions of compressed-media players) will survive, but the apple ipod is already becoming a dinosaur in its own genre. roaches will surely be around for awhile.
Well if you are going to talk about brand names sticking around rather than actual products that's another thing because most brand names stick around for a long time anyway. Walkman has moved over and now produces mp3 players so they have continued to survive the radio-cassette-CD phases as well.
Ipods (or any mp3 player) will be gone in a couple years at most. Do it all cell phones will replace them.
