I have him on IR in a keeper league and can keep him for basically a 15th round pick next year.

But, I am not going to bother if he is going to be done for his career.

Has there been any news on his rehab? Is it career ending?

From what I have heard, hes DONE. He has no cartridge in his knee which basically means career over.

From what I've heard, he has not cartlidge on his bad knee. And it will be bone rubbing on bone.

If he plays, he will play with extereme pain.

However, from everything I hear. Dominic Davis doesn't like to play through pain.

He likely is not coming back. Of course I hope everything I've heard is wrong. Because Dominic Davis was one heck of a runner.

Bone-on-bone is NO fun, sports fans!!! I'll try to describe the sensation. When you walk normally, you have a fluid motion. With bone-on-bone, the knee ligaments let the knee bend; but when the knee straightens up, it feels like you pounded a cement floor with a baseball bat. I'm not even going to attempt to describe the pain.

My lose of cartlidge is nowhere close to bone-on-bone. I went from a little discomfort to not being able to walk in less than 2 weeks. However I pop enough Glucosamine/Chondroitin to keep enough cartlidge in my knee to keep me walking. Ican only imagine what DD is going through.

Nah. I think we are pretty well set at RB with the 'Great Dayne'.

    We need a new QB.

    Great Dayne? .....Not

More like "Mun-Dayne." He had one great game which preceded a season of awfulness.

We need a new QB as well.

Heck, we should just pretend its expansion draft all over again and start from scratch.

You always make me laugh, when I see your 'glass half empty' responses and then notice that it was by 'Mr. Brightside'. :D

    I feel bad for DD.

What has happened with Wali Lundy? People were raving about his play up until a couple weeks ago. Now, nothing. What's wrong with Wali the man?

P.S. I think anybody that believes we are going to take a RB in the first couple rounds of the draft are dreaming.

1 game? He's had an awful season because he was awful early on, but he has put together 4 solid games in a row at the end of the season.

I do see the Texans drafting another running back in 07 probably in the 4th or 5th round. Selvin Young may be productive in this type of system. Oh wait, he's a Horn..nevermind.

I think Dayne has had the best stretch of his career the last couple of games which indicates he isn't very good. Kubiak will bring him back but we need someone better to platoon with him.

That sucks, there are operations to fix that...microfracture, and other types where they grow cartlidge in a lab and re-insert it into the knee.

I guess DD did not want that type of operation.

Are you one of those people who also think there is a chance Bob Sura will play again?

For a normal person that would like to play recreationally i could understand it being okay, but were talking about an NFL player that pratices almost every day and then gets pounded during the game. He wouldn't last the whole season no matter how well they repaired it. I say we start getting ready to start next year with a new RB or one of the ones we have.
