Gotta love the way Mcgrady has responded to Yao's injury so far. He knows how important this season is to the Rockets. He's not going to let it slip away. We will be right there when Yao returns to the floor.

T-Mac is doing great but he does need someone to spell him some. I don't want him playing too many minutes. JVG should learn to use his bench some more, it wouldn't hurt.

Great half by the Rockets. Esp. T-mac. 25 for Mac. He could be on the ay to one of those special mights...... Especially if ATL keeps it between 15-20 pt lead for the Rockets.

we should nail this one easily. But other players need to help TMAC out there.

You know what? I am really starting to come around on this guy. He's very good at picking and choosing what to do on any given night. He's skilled enough and big enough to do it all: shoot, defend, and rebound.

I probably should have given the guy more time to round into form, but I just love the way he plays right now. To be consistent, I've always said that my biggest 'beef' was with the Rox organization in giving up what I felt was 'too much' for him. But in fairness to him, I can't hold that against him; he's a pretty solid all-around player, and a very smart guy who -- when both our superstars are healthy and playing -- can be one major piece to our puzzle, although he can't be the last piece we add to the team in trying to get there and eventually win it all.

This is the McGrady from 04-05. If he is truly healthy and he get get the shot back, look out.

Combination of everything. The only fault you could find with TMAC is rusty ball handling a few times with TO. Other than that he is playing like he is 22 years old. His movement is quick and smooth. Drives to the basket for smooth layups, hitting his 3's... It looks like the back therapy has done wonders for his body and mental confidence. Good news is that he took a hard collision to the floor and came up smiling.

I'm president of that club. I'll excuse the first half because Tracy took 15 of our 31 shots. That's what happens when he goes off like this.

    LMAO!

Rafer asking a random guy: "Who's the worst player on the Rockets?"

    Random guy: "Ray Austin".

Did yall watch that halftime feature with Rafer? That was hilarious

Rafer was interviewing people ala Jay Leno. He was decent.

He asks a mentally challenged guy: "Who is the worst player of the Rockets?'
THe guy Goes: "Ray Alston". Rafer throws his hands up. HE's got a future if this basketball thing doesn't work out

    LMAO

Hes scoring in several ways tonight. He looks confident from the 3 point line today. Hes driving, with some nice finesse around the bucket. He hasnt really thrown it down on anyone tonight, but that will come if he stays healthy and his confidence builds. after reading the article in the chron today, this definitley makes u feel optimistic..oh btw, hes been posting up some too!

IIRC there was one instance in the second quarter where T-Mac threw up an airball three-pointer, a really badly missed shot that got me thinking 'uh oh.' Then he follows that up with three baskets: a drive from the baseline, a three-pointer and a midrange jumper. He's really looking good out there, really mixing them up too.

The hawk's on the other hand are really bad, or we're making them look really bad. Not that I care either way.

Tmac had a good first half...he is very mobile. It could be fool's gold. JVG needs to get others involved ie shane and luther, maybe alston. T-mac cannot play major mins.
