kolb is not projected to go before the third round, I'd rather have smith in the second, or russell. but russell is supposed to go first if he comes out. third round would be great for kolb. unless he astounds at the combine and moves up.
i don't think smith is gonna fall to the 2nd round. but i'd love to have him. would love to give him a shot. easy guy to root for.
That interception was Kolb's fault. I don't know what Flutie is talking about...it wasn't batted or off the receivers' hands.
The interception was a good pass, in my opinion, it was just blind luck that they guy caught that ball. 9 times out of 10, nobody catches that ball. If Houston could tackle, this game would be a lot closer. South Carolina may not have even scored by now. That was a risky call by Briles to go for it on fourth down, but it payed off. Great throw by Kolb, also.
Kolb is playing great. I'll admit it, I've only seen highlights of the guy, but if this is how he plays week in, week out, I'd love to see him start for the Texans. I don't think that interception was that poor of a decision, and that's his only blemish so far.
It was. Aldrige is one fast kid. Houston really is a talented team. What is their qb situation looking like next season?
Her was refering to Kolb's other 3 INT's. He was pointing out that Kolb hasn't thrown a "BAD" INT this year. It's either been batted ball, off the receivers hands, or in this case an atypical play by an O-lineman.
They got Blake Joseph who the coaches feel has a better arm than Kolb. They also got former La Marque QB LJ Castille who is a great athlete but can also throw. As long Briles is the coach, don't worry about the offense.
