I actually read this another way. I think Arena's saying "quality shots" shows that he's letting Kobe get to him. If he really wanted to show that he's been there done that, he'd just not change anything.

well, i see nothing wrong with what Gil said. In fact, i think what he said is true, if u bother to look at how kobe played when he first entered the league. Meanwhile, Gil didnt' start this drama, its' kobe.
I thought about that too; however, if you think about it, Bryant probably played his first season in the NBA when Arenas was a freshman in high school. I remember watching college players (Kenny Anderson, Todd Day, etc.) that I idolized when I was that age.
That's a good point. Kobe was already airballing three-pointers in the NBA playoffs when Arenas was 14 years old.
