agree gorgeous day today, on the way there with my cousins, posting from my Verizon pda heading to the san marcos before heading to the hotel then the game. going to be a kickass weekend
omg just to be there on a road game and another blowout, the miami trip was special in my book, but this trip defenitely up there. eating at alamo café right now will make a thread with pics and vids when I get back to the hotel
CLutchfans + Rowdies = Sweet Victory. Just got back from the game, I know you dudes are celebratin on the riverwalk. Next time, lets try not to meet in the ghetto-est place of the city!
man i can barely talk, great game you guys. i'm pretty sure we ruined everyone in our section's nights with how much noise we were making. and thank god i didn't listen to evan and show up at murf's.
i showed up at murfs for exactly 5 seconds, then i realize that i didnt want to star in training day part 2.
agreed...myself and a couple buds would love to make it out to something like this in dallas against the Mavs!!! GO ROCKETS great game against the Spurs!!!
Just got back from the game. I was sitting in between the Red Rowdies and the Spurs version of the Rowdies (very lame). I was surrounded by Spurs fans of course. But the feel of the arena seemed electric. Not only was there a sellout crowd (the AT&T center is awesome by the way) but there was a noticeably loud sound emanating from the far end of the court that had everybody looking up--lo and behold, it was the extremely loud and proud Red Rowdies! You guys were awesome! I was cheering along with you all and totally pissing off the Spurs fans around me. Wow, what a great game and great atmosphere! It seemed that 40% of the arena was wearing Rockets red! After the game, I ran into a bunch of the Red Rowdies and high fived all them as we whooped and hollered all over the AT&T center! Red Rowdies Rock!
There was nothing like celebrating in the lobby of the ATT center with a bunch of rockets fans. Some spurs fans next to us(we filled the very back row of the stadium in 223) talked back to us in the first quarter but by halftime they were quiet. what a great game. we even got mentioned in the s.a. paper. see everybody again tonight for the clippers right?
I was in section 223 as well, in row 19. What a great game last nite. All the Spurs fans had nothing to say...
when i drove up there at 430pm, i thought that placed made the 5th ward look like River Oaks! maybe you are thinking of another location, but that location was kinda CRACKY!! also, whats up with the messed up traffic after leaving ATT center? I couldnt make a right turn when I left! what we'd disturb the hood if we drove toward downtown?
I was up in the 200's on the side where the teams sit for the first half. There were a couple of other Rockets fans and my whooping and hollering got them going. The second half, a Spurs fan friend of mine who has seats 2 rows behind the Spurs bench took me down and IT WAS ON!! I was all over Manu and the regulars were definitely not giving me welcome looks. I was pretty obnoxious (Red Bulls and Vodka will do that) in the arena and the food court areas, so I'm prolly lucky there was no drama. Great experience overall!
My family and I sat in section 223 and were blown away by all the Rocket support!! Simply amazing! After the game in the lobby, you would have thought this was a playoff game or something, the way we were celebrating! It was so cool to high five all the faithful Red Rowdies afterwards. I was one of those guys taking pictures with you by the Christmas tree outside! I swear I thought some of the Spurs fans were going to cry. Just wanted to say thanks for making a great game even better. I've never been more proud to be a Rockets fan!
