Well, both McGrady and Yao should be considered high-risk injury players. McGrady, just because of his back history. And Yao because of his size.

It's sad, but I don't think we should be surprised that both players would miss significant time in back to back seasons.

Read on another thread that Yao will be out 6weeks. It had the Chronicle as the source. This truely sucks. Take care Yao. Does this mean the Rockets will sign someone off the NBDL??

I would think they will have to sign someone. Deke is the only true center on the roster. Best center in the NBDL is Justin Williams, a clone of Theo Ratliff. They also should sign Kelenna Azubuike, a Rocket training camp invitee, who leads the NBDL in scoring. He would add size to the backcourt because as you saw in today’s game, the Rockets have no size in the backcourt without Snyder and T-Mac. I would sign those two players and cut Sura and Padgett.

For the benefit of the BBS, could you sketch out a few of the "advantages" the Rockets had over the Clippers tonight? I know you are *vastly* more qualified than Jeff Van Gundy, but some of the basketball novices might want to benefit from your years of experience and acumen. Thanks in advance.

It is my opinion that the JVG was pretty "disadvantaged" in this game.

Alston taking twenty shots doesn't mean the world is upside down. That means you are getting rafer x 2. =)

The Wells and Battier comments make sense.
