a festivus miracle. the clippers win.
anyway, battier played like a warrior. don't know what to say bout bonzi. had he performed, rox would have won.

Is it confirmed by the MRI that it is just a bone bruise?

I won't believe it until I hear the official report.

Unbelievable. And to think that this was a Clipper team that got totally blown out by 32 points last night up here in Dallas.

    Here comes Tmac Time.
The only positive spin could be that Tmac get his confidence back and the team grow with him. When Yao comes back, this team then will be unbeatable.
Of course, Tmac cant play 40 plus min.

You really expect Yao-less Tmac-less rocket to beat any team in this league. I am alreay happy that we didnt get blow out and Battier showed what he can do.

I am with you. Play Novac for Rox future. Play Pagget for a win? I don't think so.

At least we put up a good fight for most of the game.
And as for Yao's injury, on a positive note, Battier will get more offensive plays called for him while Yao's out, which will help us in the long run. Plus, this will help Bonzi get into playing shape quicker.

Merry Christmas to all! Go Rockets!

Not sure but from what I saw last night from the Clips, the Rockets could have beaten them even without Yao. I'm sure that the entire team was in shock with what happened to Yao but they still had an 11 point lead at the half. Had they prevailed in this game that would have been a major step forward for this team. Tonight's situation is a lot like what happened to the Mavericks earlier this week when Dirk Nowitzski went down with a horribly looking sprained ankle. Dirk turned out OK. Let's just hope that Yao does as well.

I seriously doubt if T-Mac plays any of the games left in the 2006 part of schedule. I don't know what to think about what the Rockets will do if Yao is out for an extended number of days. I hope JVG gets to include the other players on the team. When will the final decision be made on Sura?

Great efforts by Rox. The bright side is role players can get more PT to grow -hope JVG can play all bench players to develope them before Yao and TMac come back healthy in January.
