i think i spelled his name right. his team is playing right now.

rick kamla and my former coach tim capstraw are calling the game.

early on lior has shown athleticism on a dunk, timing on a block, and a nice post move to score in traffic. tim said he thinks lior could be a perimeter oriented 4 or a big 3...but most likely a 4 considering the "shrinking" of the nba.

    tune in!

o wow. he was impressive. He is very athletic for euro standard. Nice shooting touch, scored like 16 points. I am impressed with his toughness. he was matched up with santiago for some time. And he was tough!! When dike retires, he will be in the rotation.

If I had to compare this guy to anyone I would say a mix of chuck hayes an young jho. He has the rebounding and hard tough post playin and the heads up hustle play of chuck with the mid range jumper and iq of jho

Isn't he more of a PF? I think he could replace Juwan (or Chuck) in a few years.

He doesn't have a shooting touch at all for now, sorry, i shoot better then Lior.
In three years he will be much stronger, and better at every espect in the game, including his shooting.
im think he will be good but only in 3-4 years from now.

He's definitely a longterm project. But I like the draft strategy of taking Euros in the 2nd round and letting them develop overseas. If they pan out great, but if not then it's not as if we wasted a roster spot and money trying to develop them here.

San Antonio has been doing this for a while and they have a bunch of Euros in their pipeline that they can always bring over. They've got Luis Scola, and a Frenchmen whose name I can't recall. They can develop and reload at very little cost, a 2nd round pick.

that's a bit soon. deke is supposed to retire this summer. lior isn't much of a 5... for of a small 4, or big 3.

i would bet that he is being looked at to replace juwon in 3 years. they have a similar style, mid-range / hustle game.

maybe we can call in badiane to replace deke? what is going on wit that guy? i haven't read of any updates in a long time.
