    Martynas Andriuskevicius was brutally punched by D-League teammate Awvee Storey during practice on Thursday.

    Both players are members of the Dakota Wizards.

    ''He has a skull fracture, severe concussion and a two-centimeter hematoma on the left side of his brain,'' Andriuskevicius' agent Herb Rudoy said. ''They've been monitoring him because they're concerned about seizures.

    ''From what I'm told, when he got hit unexpectedly, he went out cold instantly and fell right back on his head.''

    Storey has been suspended indefinitely.link

    Damn that was a really brutal punch.

    In the article, someone was quoted "He's lucky he's not dead."

    When did Storey get cut from the Washington Wizards roster btw?

    Storey was waived by New Jersey right before the regular season started.

    me too. there is no need for that kind of violence when your getting paid a kings ransom to play a childs game.

    why can't these players just enjoy thier millions...

    Well, they get paid ok in the NBDL. I think it's less than 30k/yr.

    They are on the same team. :eek: You shouldn't be helping the opponent out by sending your teammates to a hospital.
