The show came as less a supprise since Feigen had already revealed the content. Oh my, how Kimmel would hate Feigen!

It wasn't a spectacular interview, but I accredit that more to Kimmel than anything else. However, I thought it was great seeing Yao and T-Mac joking around together. Those two guys seem to really get along well, and that just makes me hope even more for a full T-Mac recovery after this sabbatical and the end of his back trouble for this season at least.

It's great to see my two favorite players enjoy one another the way they do (homoerotic tension aside), and it serves as such a stark contrast to the way the last big duo of Shaq and Kobe got along. Also, Yao's english is definitely getting better and better, but there were still moments in the interview where I struggled to hear what he said. Aside from that... Yao seems like a genuine and great person, and its comforting that he's been able to adapt to America and play increasingly aggressive while still retaining a lot of the sensibilities of his own culture. I too find myself beginning to like Yao nearly as much as I liked the Dream, mostly because he has a sharp wit and a sunny disposition.

And T-mac... what can you say about Tracy. Laid back, good spirited, well spoken, an unselfish superstar worthy of ranking up with the likes of Kobe, Lebron, Wade, and Melo when he's healthy... he seems like he'd very easily get along with just about anyone and would be a great friend if it came down to it. In a league overpopulated with selfish, aggressive players it is more than just refreshing that our two best players are people with tremendous character as well as talent. This Rockets team has a great sense of unity and mutual appreciation for one another as a team and as individuals. That alone can get a team a far in this league, and can often be the deciding factor between victory and defeat on roadtrips and down the stretch into the playoffs.

The interview was alright, but I for one couldn't be happier with the team we have right now. The only way it could be better is if T-Mac's back problems were cured by some sort of miracle... but I'll gladly take the team we've got right now. This Rockets team has the heart of a champion, and if everything comes together just right... it may be justly rewarded.

I agree 100% with this comment. Hate him or love him, Jimmy was the reason this interview worked. Considering both guys are quiet, and Yao was obviously nervous, he did a great job of breaking the ice and somewhat brought out some personalities to the world. Any time it got quiet or had an akward silence going on, Jimmy was quick to keep it going by throwing little jokes out there. Yeah those mom and dad jokes weren't the best, but it didn't seem like Yao mined and from the looks, he enjoyed them.

I loved it when Yao said, "Man, that's COLD!". It was great hearing that from him, it just shows you how far he's gone and how much he's adapted to the American culture. Although Yao looked nervours the whole time (who can blame him?), the guy was like :D the entire interview.

^^ I dunno if it's just me but it seems like they were presented as a couple, haha I think even Jimmy caught onto that.

An uncomfortably great interview.....Yao was trying hard and what a risk for the big fella, and what a killing.....TMac looked awfully bored, yet was engaging......BUT..........the funniest thing about the interview was God love him YAO was dressed like Frankenstein and it was HILARIOUS to me the whole time.....7'6.....but what character as well as genuine guy.

The interview was pretty funny. Yao told his agent he watched Brokeback Mountain with Tracy. And Jimmy told T-Mac, he heard back spasms were a fake injury.

FINALLY, someone with a little intergrity and journalistic gravitas calls that weasle Tracy McGrady out on his fake injury. Its well know in the NBA that Tracy has always faked back problems so he could take a couple of days or weeks off during the season when he needed "me" time. Even though its a well known fact, no one brings it up because they say the reason Grant Hill went from a great player to whatever he is now is cause he threatened to expose McGrady to the media and league officials. Whatever T-mac did was so bad Grant didn't even try to get revenge.

THANK YOU JIMMY KIMMEL FOR BLOWING THE LID OFF OF THE BIGGEST COVER UP SINCE WATERGATE.
