First of all I am not Tmac hater. We all know we lost to Spur in last game when Tmac's shooting was off targets in 4 Q. Tonight Bonzi became Spurs nightmare again and was crucial when Yao was in foul troubles. Tmac-JVG-Bonzi, just interesting...
rotflmao yeah right you are not a Tmac hater? why did u ask this question then? if you weren't a Tmac hater, u would obviously that a great player like Tmac would only have a positive effect on any given point.
Um, if tmac was here i am pretty sure we woulda closed out at least 3 out of the 4 games on the road, and yes, tmac could only help in every single way if he played.
No we couldn't. We have gotten owned with T-Mac in the line up. I mean with the way he was playing before he got injured, I'm just so glad he wasn't in the line up.
I love T-Mac and want him back as much as anyone, but I'm not sure. Everything just went our way tonight. Starters, bench players, coach doing everything right and the shots were falling and the calls were mostly going our way. It could go either way with T-Mac being in or out of the lineup. The Spurs could have focused on shutting down T-Mac and then our other players would as usual start sucking without his presence. I'm just glad we won, I still want T-Mac back ASAP so we could have won those other road games we lost.
I think he means that if Tmac were here and off would our other guys still step up like wells and head and howard did tonight... but as someone already pointed out..Tmac is great and surely he could have only helped us with his penetration and playmaking skills...hopefully we take the clippers today even without Tmac...we will need guys like Bonzi to put up another sold effort.
So what is T-Mac's status by the way, like everyone was talking about him being back for the blazers and now no one is even talking about a date for his return, I heard 3 weeks from another fan.
This is a legit question, I don't know why you guys are clowning him. Noone can say that T-Mac wouldn't have had an off-night in terms of shooting if he played. We could have lost, we could have won. But T-Mac can do no good? Come on now. There's a possibility for everything and certainly yes we could have lost with T-Mac tonight.
If you are not a Tmac hater, you should have posted such a thread. If tmac could play, Rox would not have lost 4 of the past 6 games, but at least winning 5 of them. Miss him.
You wish! Tracy McGrady just scored 140 points along with 3 steals in my magical Xbox. We defeated the Pistons 150-85. I believe!
Anyway we see the hope with TMac out of the court. It is the big difference with last season. It seems that absence of TMac causes the more rapid improvement of the benches.
I am afraid we will just continue to have to get used to Tmac being in and out of the line up for as long as he is on the roster. Back problems dont just stop.
C'mon, guys. Overreactive. There is no doubt we'll win more with healthy T-mac. I am just talking about the Spurs game. What i meant is: Could Bonzi have the chance to play if T-mac were not hurt? But I am absolutely on JVG's side regarding Bonzi. Our previous games in SA were owned by Pop and spurs. I guess what I meant is bad things can convert into good things sometimes, so don't be too assertive about our "scrubs" and JVG. Who knows YOU ARE NOT FOOLED? Expect a win tonight and Merry Christmas to all FANS.
I believe that without a doubt we would probably be the number 1 seed in the entire NBA if Tmac had not gotten hurt....at least at this point in the season. No way, we would have lost two to the Lakers, and to Golden State and Portland. Just take those 4 games into account and you go to 20-6.......instead of 16-10....big difference. DD
This team is 11-34 without McGrady. were a better team with him playing. be it against anyone. when tracy returns, he'll draw more double teams , hence more open looks for bonzi. not only that, tracy will creat more shots for bonzi then whay alston is doing now.
Giving you the benefit of the doubt... We will win if Tmac makes his jumpers because he likes to do that instead of driving to the basket. We won by scoring in the paint. Our players were driving to the basket last night and I guess the Spurs were expecting us to be shooting more 3s. It didn't happen. The spurs D was NOT ready for that. Defensively, we were effective in the first half. But if you notice int he last Q, it was like an AllStar game - exchanging uncontested shots. But i'm not saying that we can't improve when Tmac comes back. I believe with Tmac's passing skills, we can be better team.
