It makes me sad. The same way it makes me sad that you made a new thread about something you could get answers for by reading one of the many threads about Tracy's back. EDIT: Well at least you made it a poll. Except for the fact that the poll answers don't really cover all the bases.
I feel that T-Mac's back is the opposite for T-Mac himself. After all, for all good things there has to be an opposite. I just hope that T-Mac can compensate for his back. Still optimistic.
So sad about T-Mac's back, eversince his back spasm, I knew that the problem was coming, many people were optimistic then, but I didn't. I hope T-Mac is gonna be OK, I pray for him and God bless him, he is a good and talented player, we need him.
t-mac can never be the old t-mac, face it. the only reason rox is not trading him is because no team wants a broken back with a giant contract. T-mac used to score 30 points a game, easily, now it's like 17 points per game. I don't buy that play maker crap, he is just not as good as before. I mean kobe is playing team ball this season, but whenever lakers needs him to score, he can and he will give you 50 points or 35 points. Sad for t-mac, sad for yao ming.
The Rockets are in the big hole over this because they made three bad judgements. Firstly by getting Tracy when he was damaged goods with a chronic bad back in Orlando. Secondly they had the opportunity to make a trade in the offseason while his condition was in limbo. They [Les Cd & JVG] chose to gamble with the knowledge that with JVGs desire for the stupid WIN NOW policy they should take a chance on Mc Grady. Thirdly, due to JVGs inability to coach developing talent, they traded away a future star for a role player. So now, if there is no way to fix his back, they must clean up the mess which they chose to get the team into.If they are working on it now it's going to take three seasons. That's ok as Yao aged 29 willl be in his prime years as a Center.
Well.. i guess a lot of us here feel that we need a new star to pair up with Yao. Sigh, i was so excited for this season.
poor judgment in writing this. every GM in the league would have made the deal w/orlando from our side. What opportunity did they have to make a trade this offseason? You know of one where we'd get someone like KG back? Cause I sure don't. And on your point on Rudy Gay...check back in 5 years--then decide on that one.
