    He's already 26
You never know how long 7'6'' 300lb bodies will last
    Team sucks
    TMac is hurt
    Coach sucks
    Ownership is too cheap
    Arena is too quiet
    Houston has too few Asians
and too many other kinds of people
Groupies at parties hosted by NBA players in Houston are too skanky (see photo with Lebron/D.Jones).

Is it time for him to move on?

What should the Rockets look for in a rebuilding project? A couple of picks and a young player who can compliment rising stars Novak and Spanoulis?

    Noooo, Yao isn't going anywhere.

He has two hot Chinese restaurants goin already and he is not the kind to demand a trade to the team that put their faith in him and picked him first.

He will not ask for a trade until the end of his current contract, no matter how bad the situation is.

A smart fellow like you surely knows Yao is a Base Year Compensation Player this season. Then again...CHA and ATL have some cap space left...are there many Asians in those cities? :D

So are you a Golden State fan or a Laker fan Van Gundier? You did a good job laying low for most of this year.

Maybe he should wait til after the season, then.

CHA doesn't have a lot of Asians, but they have fewer of the other type of people than Houston does, being a smaller city. Yao will surely have more fun there, because, apparently, he likes Asians and dislikes other kinds of people.

After the season, the Rockets should trade Yao in a 3 way deal with Memphis and Minny to get back Mike James, Rudy Gay, and Stromile Swift, 3 of the fan favorites in Houston and 3 guys who can complement Novak and Spanoulis.

Are you making a racist comment about how Chinese/East Asians only live in California?

I think Yao will be happy there, with so many Asians, he doesn't have to deal with other ethnicities outside of work.

He might have a problem, though, with the large number of Tibetans living in California. As NewYorker points out, Yao's people hate Tibetans. He spends his summers shooting Tibetan pilgrims at the border between China and India.

unfortunately we only have 5 more seasons with yao before he starts to decline.

    tmac is already declining fast.

the team can win with almost any outside scorer alongside yao. i don't see why yao has to go anywhere. tmac and JVG on the other hand...

I feel bad about Yao stuck in a situation like this. I do not have much against Houston though sometimes it reminds me that incapable president on the Texas Ranch. My main concern is the owner who is obviously more concerned about making profit than winning championship. Of course he wants both. But when theses two goals are in conflict, he will go for the first one without hesitation. he is a pure businessman, good for him but not good for Yao Ming.

The Rockets should think about trading T-Mac in the offseason. We need a point guard and power forward. This will help the team alot.

It shows how dumb some people are. So the general conclusion is ONLY ASIANs watch Yao ming or will pay to watch him? Which village do you guys come from.

Trade him to any team in the East and they become instant contenders.

Trade him to any team in the West (outside of Midwest region) and they are top 3 PO seed bound.

The thing is that the Rockets won't trade Yao for anyone, period. TMac, on the other hand, is another story.

I can easily see that they trade away Tmac for expiring contracts at the end of this year. That certainly sucks.

Didn't know you and Yao were acquainted that well to know what his likes and dislikes are in personalities. But, I'll take your word on it. I am curious why dealing with a gruff New Englander like Van Gundy on a daily basis hasn't calloused Yao a little...but that's just me.

As far as a trade proposal, it probably would be a good idea to wait and see if Van Gundy is still the coach when the BYC comes off. The next coach may actually have a need/desire for slashers and creators instead of spot up shooters.

And to further add to the variables, the BYC comes off after the draft...never can tell...there may be another $Ball player available for next years' 1st rounder.

LOL, no, I'm making a comment on trollish threads and posts that we have had to deal with in the past on this forum, frequently dealing with this exact same subject - though thankfully we haven't had one for a while until now.

Anyway - why would it be racist for me to assume that some Chinese live in california? As far as I know there are Chinese in california - isn't it just as racist for you to assume that Yao has to go some place with more Asians (e.g....California). Looks like you need to re-calibrate your definition of racist.

EDIT: Or wait, is this a joke thread? Your joke threads need more warning then.

After Bonzi regains his old self by the end of the month, you will not say this any more.
