    thank god i live uptown.

    i am safe here in Spanish Harlem.


    I was about to get on the subway to go to work when my roommate called and left me a message. at that time, one of the planes had gone down.

    that was three hours ago, and whats happened since is unbelievable.

    I'm safe. I overslept and didn't go to work today. My roomate saw the whole thing happen. He saw the first plane crash into WTC. I have family and friends that work there. WHY WHY WHY!

    I'm ok on the upper west side....but used to work in WTC....have likely lost some good friends in there.
