It took me a while to cool off so here is my delayed report from the Texans-Pats game last Sunday. (First some Rockets stuff-part of the story)

First off I was in New York Thursday and Friday so I watched the Rockets games out at bars both nights and then headed up to Boston Saturday went out there and then on to the Texans game Sunday.

New York, saw plenty of YOF's walking around also saw 4-5 people with Texans shirts/hats and two guys with Astros hats on, oh and a ton of UT gear BTW.

Thursday we went to a bar and watched the Rockets lose that heartbreaker to the warriors there were 2 other Rockets fans there, Saturday night we were at the ESPN zone where my buddy and I met this Laker fan from LA and right before gametime we saw like three Rockets fans who came over and watched the game with us. Man we were just hazing this Laker fan all night but low and behold we lose again and I was like man I can't take this but still it's pretty cool to watch your team play at a sports bar in another town.

Ok on to "black sunday", it started out great as we went out in Boston Saturday and happened to run into about 12 Texan fans (about 5 of them I knew in a round about way) at the original Cheers and even though most folks are pretty rude and stuck up in Boston we ran into some nice folks along the way and saw some decent looking women as well.

On to gameday, I was like please just stay close since the weekend sports wise had been pretty bad so far. First off we get up crack of dawn and start pounding bloody marys then we head off to catch a train (no way was I gonna rent a car and drive all messed up) anyway we saw some Texan fans on the train and started to bs with them and of course started hearing crap from the Pats fans as well.

"what the f were you thinking not drafting bush"
    "f you"
    "f texas" etc.etc.
    "bush sucks"

*some fans liked our pick and most were friendly and the guys who came here for the super bowl had very nice things to say about Houston

Man when we got to the parking lot I heard lots of crap but of course I had great comebacks like when some says "the only thing from Texas is steers and queers and you don't look like a steer" I would respond saying "man I have never heard that but if anyone knows a *** it must be people from a state that promotes gay marriage" that shut them up

Or when someone said something about the Alamo I responded by saying "didnt like only 6 people or so die in the boston massacre"

"bush sucks" to me, my responce "what was the name of that woman Ted Kennedy killed?"

    "Houston Sucks" "Boston Swallows

Anyway only a few Texan fans near me so I did my best to shut them up but 40-7, WTF Texans

All and all I had a fun trip but I sure do wish my teams would have played better.

The stadium was real nice (not as good as Reliant but nice)
It is thirty miles from Boston which sucks and the train ride took over an hour.

Fans, not real rowdy, I guess the best ones were around me since I was in the end zone down low

Also a liitle FYI, sports fans in New York and Boston are really no better than us we complain about banwagon fans so do they, we complain about crowd participation so do we.

Hell the Celtics have won 16 titles no one was talking about them, the pats only used to have 6k in season tickets back in the day before they were winning.

One nice thing to report, Boston fans think we have "very good" fans in Houston.

Also the bars around Fenway are bad ass! (I was not to crazy about Boston but would love to go see a Red Sox game one day)

It is hard right now being a Texan fan but the 50 or so other Houstonians we ran into were great and all of them had the attitude of "it's gonna be great when we win one of these days"

Cool report. I've been to a few games at the old Foxboro Stadium, and would easily say those fans are some of the most obnoxious fans I've ever met. They would yell and curse at their own fellow fans. It might have changed now that the new stadium has gone up, and ticket prices have gone up. Those Boston fans were 10x worse than NY fans I've encountered.

My cousins who live in Boston went to the game and they got to go to the Patriots locker room afterwards since they know the team trainer.

I have been to New York before and people there are pretty nice but man Boston is one stuck up town. It's kind of like Dallas but they are vocal.

Still not a rowdy crowd and the most people were yelling was at my buddy and I not at the game.

Liberal towns are all like this. I am moving to SF soon, and very familiar with anti-texas stuff. Good comebacks!

when i was in dc long time ago visiting a friend.

I almost had a fight with my friends roomate cause he was dissing on Sam Cassell.

I spammed the dude every time Sam did well, like winning Nike Player of the week, going to the all-star game and anytime the Sam punked the Wizards.

you can diss our expansion football team, but you can never diss any of the legends that brought glory to the universe.

if he talked about dream or otis, i would have d-d-t-ed him.

Dallas Mavs fans are p***y's they will talk **** in their own stadium but not back it up.

This one douch kept steping on my boots here then I talked **** to him, he threw a punch at me then I beat him down to the point to where he and his girlfriend were crying.

I'm not a fighter but I really wanted to beat down this guy because I got kicked out after some fat want to be gang banger sucker punched me during the 40 point loss at dallas. To me I was just waiting for someone to start ****.

Oh BTW, the reason the guy suckered me was that he kept kicking my chair and pushing me I told him if he did it again we would have a problem and then a few minutes later he punched me what a ****ing p***y

I heard on 950 studies have shown a drop in testosterone levels in men in Boston. They called it Liberalization.

Is it Foxboro or Foxborough? I always thought the former but CBS spelled it the latter on Sunday.
