OK, it's time to fess up. With one week left until Christmas and six shopping days left, who has yet to do their Christmas shopping? I haven't bought a thing for anybody on my list yet but plan to get it all done by or before Friday. I went to the mall in town this weekend to just look around and it was absolutely atrocious. That is why I am planning to be done by Friday.

    POLL INCLUDED! :)

I walked into Macys in Herald Square today and instantly made a bee line for the exits...

shopping around Christmas time frightens me...

Im going to get the lady gift certificates and a manicure/pedicure/massage session...

then I have to shop for the fam and shlepp everything on a plane to Houston on Christmas Eve...

this is definitely not my time to shine...

I finished my shopping on Friday. I'm pretty lucky that I don't work on Fridays, so I can shop when everybody else is at work. It also helps that I'm a cheap ass and I don't have to buy that many things. :D

I haven't. I still need to buy gifts for my mother, sister, and girlfriend. Luckily my girlfriend's birthday is 2 days before Christmas, so I need to get her double the gifts! Fantastic!

Anyone have any good ideas on what to get for said people? I hate shopping, I already tried once and couldn't find anything, so I'm going to try to do it all online and get everything shipped here asap.

I haven't bought anything for my father yet, because my mother has asked me to buy some accessory for a tool that she hasn't bought yet. Otherwise, I'm done.

I hate to say it, but the older I get the more I lose interest in Christmas. I mean seriously once you get to a certain age and point in life, if somebody really wants something then in most cases they will have already bought if for themselves. It just seems kinda pointless. It's a great thing for kids, but adults....I'm not so sure anymore.

I did most of mine for my wife on Saturday. Still have a couple things to pick up. We're not doing Christmas between parents/siblings this year, only the grandkids/nephews/nieces. I'm sure I'll find something the day before or something for them. :)

Probably one of the first times ever, I'm done, with the exception of my parents...They're getting Gift Cards and Cash, all I have to do is buy cards...

I may pick up a couple of stocking stuffers this weekend, but for the most part, I'm done...WooHoo!!!

Done. I did about 90% of my shopping online this year to avoid the idiots in the mall.

Mrs. g and I did a bunch this AM.

We had to re-join Costco to get a couple of DS game systems for our girls.

Don't know what to say. I think I got the last two in town (i.e. they are BOTH white... but they are the only ones we could find at CompUSA, Target, Circuit City, Best Buy et al).

Ours came pre-packaged with Super Mario Brothers so that game either stinks or is their flagship game.

I gotta thank the guy at Costco. He told us they were out and then he called the Winston-Salem store-- they had some. We were walking to our car through the parking lot headed for W-S 20 miles away and this guy comes huffing and puffing through the parking lot: I FOUND TWO!

Can you recommend any other good ones... for 5- and 7-YO girls?
