I was just at Walmart and they have 12 PS3's in stock. This is the 290 and 1960 location.

Mine's already en route via an eBay auction. I got a 20GB PS3 for $500 plus 50 bucks for shipping. That's 8 bucks and change more than I would've paid in a store factoring in tax.

I'm now format neutral with both Blu-ray and HD-DVD. That'll make RC Cola happy. :D

I wouldn't bother with HD-DVD, they have BetaMax written all over them.

It's a little late for that. I've already got 49 titles with at least 4 more on order. And honestly, if a movie is available on both formats, I'll go with the HD-DVD version. WB recently released Superman Returns on both HD-DVD and Blu-ray, but only included a Dolby TrueHD track on the former.

I purchased two from Toys R Us a few days ago. Im keeping one 60 gig and trying to sell the other one. The demand for PS3's have plummeted but the demand for Wii's are still high. If the demand was still high for ps3's...I would've purchased more

Thx! I bought a 20GB for a gift the first time you alerted us two weeks ago, and I just got another 60GB for myself today.

Mr. Chow Yun Fat, next round of Pepsi's are on me.

So much for not being able to find a PS3 come x-mas time. They seem to be pretty much everywhere...especially if your willing to fork over a little more cash and have someone else do all the leg work. I guess the 360 is partly responsible for the reduced demand. I don't think it was as easy to get a 360 at launch...even with ebay.

Even if your willing to only pay regular price, a little persistence will get you one. Ask chow_yun_fat.

Otherwise, if you don't score one and your kids cry at x-mas because you failed, then you are a bad parent who didn't try hard enough.

Got one here this afternoon at about noon. They had 20 of them! If you want one I'd call to see if they still had some.
