Rafer's shooting % doesn't suggest that this performance will continue. Even a broken clock is right twice a day.

I think those are YOFs, and they wanted Yao to be in a better team to be able to win the Champion.

Beat that straw man to death, will ya. He looks pulverized to me. Good job.

FYI: Nobody has wanted to trade Yao since he came back from toe surgery last season.

He praised JVG up and down, repeatedly. It was kind of weird.

You guys are sorely mistaken if you ever expected Alston to put up 20 pts and 10 assists per game. Alston is a role player and you shouldn't expect him to put up those types of numbers every night. Every once in a while is good.

And we don't need a 20/10 PG. all we need is a smart PG who doesn't chuck up shots. And with T-mac and Yao on the team, that PG could probably get a statline like 8 pts, 10 assts a game.

Yao took another step to being an MVP candidate. Three consecutive 30/10 games, all played within 60 hours of each other.

We basically need the whole team to play well to beat
another team without Tmac, that's what happen today.
Especially our role players stepped up big time this game.

And Yao.. I expect that from him every game. :)

This is the quote from somebody on my ignore list after the warrior's game

People tend to forget easily. Everytime there was a loss, frequent losers like this 'it" will jump out and bash Yao.

    Excellent win.

Yao had 30 and 10, which is not eye-popping anymore. What really amazed me was that he showed heart in the 4th, blocked a key shot, and had 5 assists to 1 turnover.

Alston came through, catching fire at a couple of points. Luther did excellent when he was forced to play PG.

Bonzi started off COLD, but really had it going towards the end. He was 0 of 4 from the field and 0 of 2 from the line at some point. Ended 6 of 12.

I like the way the team played. I've said before, this supporting cast is better than last year. The only games I expect to win without McGrady is when we play non-playoff Eastern conference teams at the Toyota centre. Other than that, every win is a bonus.

    Excellent stuff.

we are adjusting to play w/o tmac, thats why we have 3 losses in a row.

btw Bonzi Wells played well today,
everyone says he will opt out after this year but i hope he would stay in Houston (unless he brings us the trophy this year)

i'm glad that Yao continues to dominate and bonzi gets better and better. Rafer did a great job today, especially the four free throws at the end of the game. It's a great win, Yao and the rest of the team deserves some rest ...
