    i am moving to tyler in january for school (ut tyler). just wondering if anyone know anything bout this lil town. :)

    Why would anyone CHOOSE to move to Tyler to go to school? That makes no sense unless they're the one school in the entire nation that offers the degree you want, and I couldn't imagine what that would be. Seems like a pretty craphole type of place. I have eaten at some really good Mexican restaurant there.

    Might be dry but it's not too far away to get what you need.

    I live an hour east of Tyler. I know here lately there's been a lot of parties going on around Tyler(seems about the only thing). The only time I go over there is to meet up with friends and go to some parties.

    I've lived there for 5 years and Palestine for 5 years, I never want to go back now that i'm in Houston. It is a craphole, nothing to do!
