Wow. Sure it's colorado but still a HR is a HR. I hope he goes yard a couple of times in Enron which is almost a given but the Astros still need the wins to secure the confrence.

thanks clutch I missed the last poll but i think after these 3 and with him coming to homerun friendly Enron where he could easily put up 3 or 4 some new predictions were in order.
Also we need to think about the fact that they are probably going to be using new balls for every at bat of his fairly soon which will help his HR numbers because they have more "juice"

I do not think that coming to Enron will up his homerun totals as much as most people think. The only really home-run friendly aspect of Enron is the short porch in left, but Bonds doesn't hit homers to left field, he gets most of his considerable power going to Right and Right center.

I thought when you had a powerhitter up to base, you were suppose to make it hard for them to hit, not throw it 85mph straight down the base.

The way Barry Bonds is hitting I don't think it matters if it is a lefty or righty friendly. He already has more homeruns in one season then any left-hander in history. The guy has just lost his mind completely! Crazy.

Dude, those pitches Colorado were throwing were about 3 feet off the plate. The fact that he's crushing them is just mindboggling. It doesn't matter what teams throw to him now, if it's within 10 feet of plate there's a 70% chance he's going to crush it!

Not to get off topic, but I hate the way Barry stands there and admires his homeruns, I am surprised someone doesnt hit him at his next at bat when he does this

Well the first two games will be Bonds best shot at homering versus Houston.

    09/11 - Milicki
    09/12 - Shane Reynolds
    09/13 - Wade Miller

Wade will shut them down. Astros will win 2/3 from the Giants.

Yes. Anyone who stands and poses as much as Bonds and Griffey should be getting a fastball in the ear every other day.

I'm surprised nobody has thrown him high and inside to back him off. It seems they're just going to toss them in there and let him swing away, as if they're surprised he keeps hitting them out. How many home runs does he have to hit before someone knocks him down with a pitch? Baseball sure has changed.

Rocketspimp, I do not think that Alou or Sosa do the "homerun gaze" quite to the extent that Barry Bonds does. I would include Griffey as one who "poses" to long after hitting a homerun, call me old fashioned { I am 34} but if I was an opossing pitcher I would hit any batter who tried that. BTW- I dont think I was bithching, just stating an opinion
