Maybe we were a little more agressive? Look Yao has every right to complain about the calls, and rightfully so. I am just saying we didnt lose the game because of the refs.
Here is the same quote from the Chronicle Bryant finished with 53 points, and the Rockets hurt themselves with 25 turnovers. Afterward, Yao gave the most passionate protest of the way he is officiated of his career. "How tough is it?" Yao said, his voice cracking. "I feel that is not fair. I can't only shoot eight free throws yesterday and six free throws today and they just let their big guy keep pushing me. I would say Kwame Brown and Andrew Bynum fouled me 10 times in tonight's game, and yesterday's game also, and they did not call it. That's not fair. "I know I'm big. That's not my fault. They have two hands pushing on my back and keep pushing while I'm shooting the ball. They're not fouling upstairs, not fouling on my hands. They foul on my body. I shot only six free throws. I know that's not right. I hope the league, somebody can help with this. It's not just one or two games. It's been a couple weeks already." http://www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/sports/4406529.html
Yao should also toughen up his actins on court. All the other defenders is going all the way out at Yao: swiping their hands the whole way. There are so many times we have seen Yao got swipe on his face, arms, and eyes and bleed this season. The 11 inches scratch by Antoine Walker and no foul call was ridiculous. Yao should give them some pay back. This is NBA - survival of the fitness. Please dont be a gentleman on court Yao. If you dont retaliate, they will keep coming and you will keep hurting.
Great great great time to fxxx referees.... When he plays at MVP standard, he is definitely qualified to say it out! Yao is smart!
And what I also want to see Yao doing is telling in the face of ref about they pushing with two hands IN the game. He is super star , he can do that now. Fat chance it will change if he tells after the game after a loss. For those of you complain about foul disparities, how many freaking times we hacked Kwame inadvertently or not. How many times we fouled on lakers fast breaks, how many times we fouled to prevent esay dunks.
If the refs officiate Yao correctly he would be averaging 30+ points and 10+ rebounds easily every game.
Stop whining about bad calls? Great. So what do you do? Live with them? Oh btw were there any TOs that should have been registered under Yao but were not? Did you count them? And what do TOs have anything to do with bad officiating?
