I like Charlie Brown (I have the soundtrack) but I am shocked that there hasn't been more love shown to "A Year Without a Santa Claus" and "Rudolph's Shiny New Year". I love both of those specials and will always watch them if they are on.
The "Heat Miser/Freeze Miser" songs alone is why I chose it. Although as a child, Rudolph was the one I always watched. Not sure why, but I can't even watch Charlie Brown, anymore. Good sentiments in it, though.
somehow i don't think i've ever seen the charlie brown special. maybe it's because i've always hated charlie brown. never really watched it, so i don't know why i hate it. just something about it. i picked the grinch and rudolph would be second. Christmas Vacation is the christmas movie though. somehow even better than A Christmas Story. and, judging by some quotes from it that i was just reading the other day, a lot more vulgar than i ever knew b/c i've ever only seen it on tv. it's amazing how many curse words you find out there are in some movies you've only ever seen on tv and that you think of as fairly pg/pg-13 fare. like ferris bueller. and they're usually in places you didn't even realized they'd been bleeped out of.
