Remember though, Iverson has never, I mean NEVER, had a consistent offensive big man to play with. Iverson is one of those players that has to have the ball a lot, but I think if there is one big man he could do well with it would be Yao. Yao is a great passer, while Iverson is great at cutting ... that would make for a lot of easy buckets. Not to mention how tought they would be on the pick and roll (kind of like how T-mac and Yao would be if T-mac was more aggressive going to the basket and wasn't worried about getting hurt).

I, for one, would love Iverson on this team, but it's not going to happen and I'm not ready to give up on T-mac.

u know there's this place in south india where they do this natural herbs treatment. they do all this wierd rubbing and heat therapy along with the herbs. my friend jacked up both of his knees playing basketball and he had like 3 surgeries on it but the pain was still there. but last summer he went to that place..they did the treatment on it. now he has no pain and is back to 100%.

it's gonna cost him the ticket price which is like 2 grand. and the treatment is ilke way less than that.

Oh really? Why? B/c it's not the normal trade, fire, bench, I should slit my wrists b/c the team lost, general negativity found here? :D

I have wondered the same thing since last season. I have a feeling there isn't much room for "alternative" therapies in the Rockets playbook, but there could be a rather simple cause; i.e., electrolyte balance.

I recently suffered some terrible muscles spasms during the night which had me to the point of tears. Taking calcium and magnesium kept them from recurring.

I for sure don't know about T-mac's case, but since the condition has never been described as anything more than "back spasms", one would wonder if there isn't something simple and basic that is being overlooked that might prevent him from being so predisposed to this sort of thing.

I noticed that Steve Nash (who apparently also has a bad back) lies down on his stomach when he's not in the game. Is that something McGrady could do to keep his back from flaring up?

I don't think nash's back condition is as serious as Tmac's.

We need t-mac back in the lineup as soon as possible. Without him we are 0-2 and we are playing the lakers tonight without him again. Also, we got a game against the clipps on the weekend and i dont see him being back for that one. With T-mac and Snyder out, bonzi not back to his best, i am really worried that rockets dig a hole for themselves and can't climb back out.

That's a little scary, a couple of mm too deep... Anyway, going down that route , Duy Long Nguyen is the guy Rupert Murdoch uses.

T-Mac did the same thing Nash is doing (lying on his stomach) in the playoff series against Baron Davis and the Hornets. It subsides inflammation when lying on the stomach, but it doesn't do anything pre-injury.

You might see T-Mac lie on the floor if his back is still hurting a bit, but he decides to play anyways.

I have a bad back and I was told by my chiropractor to sleep face down.

Crap. The Chronicle article you quoted scared the **** out of me. I didn't notice the date and thought that his season was over again.

You may love T-Mac as a person, but from Rockets francise point of view, the earlier we plan ahead WITHOUT him, the better the future. Sans straight-trading, I will say develop Hayes and Head.

We certainly need to find someone else to initiate the offense......and add him to the mix....it is clear that counting on Tmac is a VERY risky business.
