Exactly!!! Whether people want to admit it or not, Tmac has a CHRONIC back problem... and has lost his jump shot.

He is half the player AI is. I would do it in a second. Unfortunately I don't see Philly ever being that stupid. :(

I don't think AI is a cancer. He has attitude problem, but it's situation related. How could he NOT have any issue with the organization. The guy has heart and throws his 110% on the floor every night. He maybe a ball hog sometimes, but he was really one of the top players at his prime. The only problem I have with AI is, that he's passed his prime, and he doesn't fit JVG's defensive schema.

Oh, I think they would do it if we threw in some young talent like Head (especially after last night). Tmac IS young and the sky is the limit if he ever gets his back in order. And this is the team that traded for broken-down CWebb and old-man Deke (although that was for the playoff run). Not to mention that this is the East we're talking about.

I can't really think of a single reason why TMac is better than Iverson.

But I don't think we can pull off the deal cap-wise, and it would feel pretty crazy to have AI in a Rockets uniform.

But then again, I never thought I'd get used to McGrady, either.

Not even one, are you serious??? how about determination, Heart, Fearlessness, Drive, Longevity, minutes played, ( Weird thing is half the stuff I said sounded like T-mac in Orlando :( )

How about Ai having about twice as many Free throw attempts (well almost)than T-mac.. What does that tell you…not to mention he has alot more steals than T-mac...

I think you read what I wrote backwards. Unless you're suggesting that TMac has more drive than AI?

    I hope not.

    TMAC FOR AI GOOD DEAL :D :D :D :p :D :D :D
    1. TMac has absolutley no heart. NO HEART at all. how many times i see that sleepy eyed fool laughing with the opponent when down by 15-20... too many times, too many...
    2. AI HAS HEART! believe it or not, he has it.
    3. TMac doesn't even have as much playoff experience as AI
    4. Although in a few games, TMac lights it up (better than anyother player at his best), he only does it once every month, at best...
    5. AI is consistent and solid!
    6. Rafer sucks as a point guard. he SUCKS for sure... AI fills that spot...
    7. A multi-player deal could land us a shane substitute if he is dealt
    8. Head comes in at SG, with bonzi right behind him in depth
    9. look at this year's averages (after 10 years in league- he's still at peak):

No way we're going to trade Head. He is the future. I'd rather trade Novak or Tmac for AI.

    According to HoopsWorld-
"The Rockets have already rejected at least one trade proposal because it involved promising two-guard Luther Head. It’s unlikely they gut their bench and sacrifice their future to acquire Iverson now."

    good/bad??

    Also according to HoopsWorld:

The Rockets offered to trade Yao and Rafer Alston for the Green Lantern and H.R. Puffnstuff but the trade was rejected by the Flying Spaghetti Monster.

I'm not sure if they're reliable or not, but I'm just passing it along for what it's worth.

That sounds a good idea as long as the NBA allows us to play with 3 balls for every possession. :)

Green Lantern is overrated anyways, his jumper is too streaky. And a lantern for a logo? I mean, come on...

Well, TMac can make the last shot easily in the D's face, while AI have to drive for a open shot. I like AI better, tho. even his attitude. :D
