I havent seen much film on him, and since he didnt play against us this year (Tech) I was wondering why he has such a buzz around him.

Any links to video clips, or articles would be rad.

he is better than the three headed monster the Texans have been putting out on the field this season!

On a serious note better than Bush.

    The next Eric Dickerson ...

I read it on the Internet, so it must be true.

He's very strong and breaks tackles has good speed and vision BUT has had injury problems off and on.

Used alot as a freshman and keeps playing alot when he is not injured.

I would be careful selecting him unless you were sure he was perfectly healthy and hasn't lost any speed.

He reminds me a lot of the great Marcus Dupree.

If he can stay healthy (huge IF), he's exactly what you want in a star NFL running back. I'm not a fan of picking running backs early because of their cost and replacability, but if there was ever one that was worth a top-5ish pick, he'd be it (in my opinion).

I've always liked him alot more than Reggie. Guy has POWER and speed. He runs as if you disrespected his family....ANGRY.

yeah but he has been hurt everyyear in the ncaa and his running style will probably lead to alot more injuries in the nfl.

he's so good the texans wont pick him..

you ve got to set your sights much much lower to someone we can lock up for years and not spend any money on.

He is the best runningback in the draft. Like they say offense sells tickets and the Texans are gonna need it, especially after this year unless the win out(doubtful).

I think he's a great running back, but this is the wrong forum, unless this is merged with the "Draft Picks" thread. :)

Just because people might want him in the Texans' uniform next year, he doesn't deserve a thread in the "Texans, Astros, Comets" forum.

AD wants to destroy everything in his path. this may have lead to some unneccesary injuries, but i'd much rather have him than somebody who doesnt give 100% because they are worried about getting hurt. his injury this year was a total freak thing, so i wouldnt worry too much about it. i actually think he has a better chance at a long nfl career than reggie bush. bush relies on his cutting and change of direction moves so much that it seems like it would be really easy for him to blow out a knee or something. adrian peterson make cuts, but its usually just one or 2, and then full speed ahead. with the right offensive line, he will dominate.

If I had a top 5 pick, I'd use it on him.

    He's that good..

He's a game-breaker. If you're an opposing team's fan, you hold your breath every time he gets the ball. But yeah, injuries are a problem.

But he's had an NFL body since he was 17 years old.
