of course...I buy tickets last week to this game and he's out. unbelievable. love my rockets but I pay to see tmac vs. kobe. tracy you owe me some tickets holmes.
I remember not any, but treated by fomentation, proved only temporarily effective now. Anyone here wanna write a letter to Rockets or Tmac for recommending the acupuncture, like me ?
I dont have a problem with Tmac missing a game to get extra healthy. It is a long season. As brilliant as Yao was against the Wizards in the last game in the 4th quarter without Tmac, now Yao will have to be brilliant for 4 quarters against a pretty good Laker team. Other than Battier, who is going to guard Kobe? I guess if nothing else this will force Vspan into the game. Who is going to be our 2nd scorer? It will be interesting to see how the Rockets play offensively tonight without Tmac. It will be interesting to see how Alston/Head play at the guard positions. Can they score for themselves without being set up by Tmac? Can they get others involved? I still wish we had Mike James for this exact scenario.
I just hope TMAC stays mentally strong and doesn't let this recent flare up effect him mentally. He was coming on strong as of late; do not want him to resort to being passive again.
With T-Mc's back out, who will be the back up? At least we are not facing a back to back. However, we can't afford to back down just because of his injury -- and the Lakers certainly won't back off. Jawon will be back in the starting lineup with Novak hopefully back over at his favorite 3-point spot. Here's wishing for T-Mc to be back very soon. Back to you, Rocket backers.
man i have a feeling bonzi is gnna play tonite...god i hope so...god we need him...god i hope him and yao tear up the lakers....god i hope
DEAR Traci, Don't worry about the Regular Season . . save it for the Championship run. Sincerely, SHAQ and Big Shot Bob Horry Rocket River
Wake up and smell reality guys...... We need to make sure T-mac is healthy and ready to play for the rest of the season so that in the off-season we can Trade Him!!!! And that's if he can play through the season without anymore injuries.. If he has another one were only going to be able to get a tier2 or tier3 player in return... I'm rooting for a healthy rest of the season after this incident so that we may acquire a tier 1 player...
Exactly, no matter what Tracy says himself, 100% or 120%, there is always the nagging thought of the back spasm. The spirit is strong, the flesh is weak....
Gossip. Trade ideas. Medical remedies (acupuncture, horse shoe therapy, kamasutra etc etc) Haven't you noticed that for every Rockets game thread there are 7 trade threads?
LOL mac sounds like you are always wishing upon a star and that one day you will get lucky...... You really think that T-mac will be healthy for the rest of his career? And if he is 80% healthy and playing do you think he will play like the T-mac of old? Look at my old posts as soon as he had that major back incident last year I have never stopped saying TRADE HIM.... Some of my old post indicated the numbers he is putting up this season when he was supposedly healthy... He doesn't instill fear into the opposing teams anymore.. He doesn’t even get to the free throw line... One of the top 3 Wingman’s in the League is at a #29 in FTA at a 67% clip ( HORRIBLE )... I don't want him to be a spot up jump shooter... Do you think the Rockets acquired him because they knew he was going to shoot allot more J's? No they got him because he was constantly attacking the basket getting to the free throw line.. Commanding double and triple teams leading to many open guys hanging out at the 3 pt line.... Attacking the Rim is the best way to overcome shooting problems ( WHICH HE HAS ) ......But has he attempted to keep shooting out of his slump which leads to a very poor fg% I don't place big bets when your putting all your chips into a guy who has his type of condition and who who is eating up the payroll with $16,901,500 /07 $19,014,187 /08 $21,126,874 /09 $23,239,561 /10 Please look into your crystal ball and tell me he will not get injured and that he will be a top 3 wingman again? Also while you’re at it can you tell me the lotto numbers...? He is GLASS at this point and that's why I'm hoping he can recover soon and play the rest of the season without injuries....
Relatively healthy. I really think he hasn't focused as much as he should on back injury prevention therapy. I think Tmac and the Rockets will be more diligent about this issue from now on. Any time you trade a superstar, you usually get half of the talent in return. Abdul Jabbar is the perfect example. Unless you want to rebuild, trading Tmac is not an option. You will get back 2 role players and an inflated contract or a bunch of picks and some young talent that MIGHT pan out a few years down the road.
Ok 1st thing is 1st none of us know exactly what he did in the off-season to help and prevent re-injuring his back... None of us will probably ever know. But this is my point... We have the largest medical facilities and best medical staff in the USA... He lost plenty of weight so that he can be as quick as he used to be (Said so himself) He was training constantly everyday in the weight room, Cardio, Bike, etc, etc... Even himself he told us flat out he has never felt this good in such a long time and that he has never had any remission of the pain or soreness he felt last year. Obviously he is our bread to our butter, our ying to our Yang (you get my point) Don’t’ you think if there was 1 area the Rockets had to look into this past off-season deeply it would have been his health? Now with the whole trade scenario... That’s up in the air who knows what other teams might offer... We are still talking about T-mac (A lot of marketing hype) and I think not a lot of people know the extent to his back... I think he can still return a tier 2 or tier 3 players in return... Rashard Lewis is a great trade... Seattle is getting frustrated and knows they have to re-build soon. KG, AI, if there is one thing I desperately want from T-mac its consistency KG and AI provide that… But who knows what the off-season might bring who knows? But if there is one thing for sure I would bet on it would be that T-macs back will be a problem till the rest of his days and that he will never play like the player he was supposed to be..
Love T-Mac and all, and would never suggest a trade, but damn, those numbers scare the hell out of me. RR
