I really don't want to trade Juwon right now, he fits the team pretty well

    but, if anything goes down

Juwon for Jason Kidd and Vince Carter would be the only reasonable option for both teams

Possible Nobel prize for the first person who finds a way to combine Howard's professionalism with Bonzi's talent.

    Howard a professional? Ha!

A professional does not slack when he is in the starting lineup and all of a sudden start to give some effort when his starting position is yanked from him.

A professional gives his best no matter what.

    As for Howard trade...

Rockets should trade him just to get rid of the losing aura that Howard brings with him.

Do not misunderestimate the unintangibles Howard brings to a team.

That's impressive number right there. looks like he would be a good rotational player. 7 offensive rebounds in 24 mins are impressive.
Well, get it done CD, Juwan for Josh Boone and Hassan Adams.

Guys do you remember last year the nets want Stro so bad? We should take the advantage this time.

The Nets are over the cap, and their incoming salaries are greater than 125% plus $100,000 of their outgoing salaries. They need to cut $4,458,753 from the incoming trade value to make this trade successful. In other words, Howard is making too much money. Adams is very intrigiung, but he's kind of a 'tweener.

Sure...then we will have Padgett backing up the 4...

I'll sit tight with Howard this year, I think he helps our chances of winning. I want to add another big not get rid of one. We are still guard heavy.

This is a completely empty statement, what evidence do you have to support this statement? We are winning on the boards night after night, and Howard has been a big part of that lately. I don't see Padgett rebounding or even playing defense as effectively as Howard.

Of course he is overpaid, but that is not our fault. If I could have 12 Juwans on my team regarding effort, hard work, and putting the team before himself...

I might just have a championship team. :D

Assuming 3 or the other 11 include Yao, TMAC, and Bonzi. ;)

Juwan for cliffy and Mcinnis. Jeff is a solid PG who can relieve or even start over rafer. and cliffy can keep defenses honest with he's range. not to mention uncle cliffy is a very good shot blocker.

What about signing Nick Van Exel to the club? If Bobby Sura can't get back into game shape, Nick might be a good back up PG...

I have Cliff on my roster on my NBA Live 07 Franchise, and he has done wonders for me crashing the boards, contesting shots and knocking down shots.

How about we trade Jho for Eddie Griffen and then trade Griffen to the nexts for Richard Jefferson? What do yall think about that?

I am willing to take 5 game loss to trade Juwon. Even though Rox has many guards, most of them are undersized, not optimal for playoff situation. Plus Juwon's salary is too big to handle. Trade Juwon now for a slasher, Rockets will benefit from it in the long run.

Hell No. Why should we care for Juwan's contract, with Yao and T-Mac we are not going under the cap and we've shown that we are willing to spend our MLE. Trading Juwan now is a terrible idea. Hes playing decently, and we need him. 5 losses are terrible, unless we get someone like Wright from the Nets, it be stupid to trade away Juwan for an expiring contract. Makes no sense, with no long term benefit.

My empty statement is based on the certainty that what Juwan has done the last 2 games won't last very long. Near the end of the season (probably MUCH sooner) he will be close to worthless. If I thought there was a reasonable chance he could contribute 20 effective mins/game like he has recently, we should keep him. Mark my word: People are going to unload mercilessly on Juwan later. "Man, we should have traded him while his value was high" or "when we had the chance", blah blah blah. It's coming. I guarantee it.

His contract has nothing to do with it. I expect him to be cut before the beginning of next season instead of being brought back. If the Nets offer something of value, Juwan should be sent up there.
