yep. it's a textbook foul. of course, the refs run games by their own book.

yeah probably a foul. one bent arm is kosher, but i think refs let it slide as long as arms are bent and you're pushing with your forearms and not hands. plus you gotta respect how low and wide KG's stance is to get a low center of gravity and stop yao's progress. someone needs to save KG's career from that frozen tundra.

What's the big deal about the photo? So you can see how much bigger Yao is than Garnett? Or how T-Mac is grabbing his shorts in the background? :p

Interesting... props from Sportscenter. Honestly I think the mainstream media is starting to come around on Yao. I was watching PTI today and Wilbon was saying that Yao was definitely the best center in the league and, in his opinion, the current leading candidate for MVP of the league. I couldn't agree more.

Yeah I caught the PTI bit today too. Garnett, Jerry West, Wilbon, people are starting to come around. At least for these 3 guys they never predicted him to be a bust so it's not like they did a 180. (And I actually respect West and Wilbon's opinions.)

As for the highlights, I think this is the first time Yao got the 'Lebron' treatment. You know, any recap of a Cavs game has to feature at least 5 clips of Lebron highlights, no matter how he played overall or the outcome. Even if Bron Bron only scored 5 points the whole recap would be on those attempts. Yao usually gets the Shawn Bradley treatment, 2 clips of someone else scoring on Yao. Strange enough it took Garnett calling Yao an MVP for ESPN to show Yao doing something positive on the court despite this game literally being his worst of the season.

    It ain't tennis brother.

Well, I guess maybe ESPN ain't racist awf-tur-awlll.

YaoMac had a bad game - and while the Rockets can win when YaoMac plays outstanding, they can't win when YaoMac plays like this.

I was disappointed in YaoMac....they were shown up a bit - and superstars don't lose their composure like that - even against great and inspired D.

Hopefullly this will wake them up and improve their games - take it to the next level or whatever you'd like to call it. They need to - there's definitely room for better decision making by YaoMac.

    And Rafer.

This team still needs to get better, but that can happen. Right now we're still pretenders though...still, better to be a pretender then celler dweller.

Contenders: Dallas, SA, Suns, Detroit, Miami (if Shaq gets healthy)
Pretenders: Houston, Utah, Orlando, NJ, La Lakers, Denver, Cleavland

So you don't trust Yao will get better new game? May be you should elaborate on why. Whether Yao will actually do better next game or not is not the point here. I am just very curious why you'd think now that he won't. Anyway, what's up with the tennis reference? You obviously enjoy picking on the new members here and also those from a certain region.

Oh by the way, since you are trying to bash everyone who mentions racism lately, why have you been completely silent in this thread so far?

    http://bbs.clutchfans.net/showthread.php?t=121364

I guess you only have the courage to pick on a certain group of people who talk about racism. How sad.

He was making reference to the fact that an NBA contest is referred to as a game, not a match. Think before getting indignant. It will save you some typing.

Yes you are right, he was actually making fun on the choice of word used by that poster. It's even worse than what I thought actually.

Anyway, I got indignant because of his hypocrisy that he only has the courage to call out a certain group of people when they mention racism but remains absolutely silent when the same issue is raised by the other posters. Who does he think he is? The one who holds the authority to decide which people have the right to speak up about a certain issue? Pathetic.

Don't worry about it - he's just some psycho guy who has to attack me after every post I make. I'm surprised the mods didn't get after him, guess he slipped through the cracks. But I only see what he writes when you quote him...

    Thanks though....

Ignore list is your best friend. Funny thing is in chat he said I owed an apology about some of my posts. I told him I already ignored him awhile ago after seeing his responses (typically attacking the debater not the debate). He then replied he had me on ignore too. I asked how was he able to read my posts in the first place? He left chat right after that. :p

Enjoy the board and ignore people who you feel have only a negative contribution.

The psycho here is the one who keeps talking about an imaginary ignore list while even a 5 years old knows by now that it is a pathetic lie. Right...if a psycho repeats the same lie 1000 times then it might become true eventually. You have lied about it 500 times now so you are half way there.

No surprise. This pathetic liar has been exposed time after time after time again. Even a 5 years old knows it since it's so crystal clear by now. He is insulting the intelligence of everyone here by still keep repeating the lie. It's sad.

If we trade Yao for KG, we'd also win everything, maybe a consecutive n-year champion, like Bulls and Lakers.

Yeah right, you put someone on your ignore list and then you would also read his posts. ROFL. I thought you would be able to come up with a better excuse/lie to dig yourself out of the hole. Dude, when will you stop insulting the intelligence of everyone here? After having been exposed so many times, this pathetic liar finally expose himself too. Thanks for the laugh. :D
