I am New Jersey Nets, so no problem here pal. Lets just start the league. I don't need a draft. We can trade or sign FA's to make our team better. I just want to play against my fellow members so lets just get this thing going. peace.
yea I wouldnt of picked the hornets, probably not, if we this was the case but none the less ill still play as is. why not...
No draft sucks, but it's not a big deal. I'm down for playing for now. I get the feeling we all just want to get the hang of the game and have some fun anyway. Just a trial run, so to speak. And get Rocketeer in there!
Alright! There we go. So when is our first game. I looked at the schedule and they don't have dates and what time do you have to play that game.
by the 17th... and remember that you can practice against any of the GM's from the lobby. Make sure you don't play your game until you have to though...
Ok... a few of you have contacted me about starting another one since we now know we can't do it with a draft... What do the rest of you think... I'm thinking since UTWeezer did bring up the idea he gets the Rockets if we do do it...
Not sure I would have picked the T'Wolves either if there was no draft, but I'm cool with it if that's how we play. Not sure who else I would picked. I guess it doesn't hurt to have KG. Drizno, when you want to play our game?
The way I tried a practice game against I Tactikz I was I we went in the lobby and I sent him an custom challenge... If you and your opponent meet in there you can just send a message thru the lobby and play against eachother... I also think you can schedule a certain time... But the other way should work as well... mogrod, I'm pretty much free after 6ish every day. What about you, what are your best times to play?
So I take it you guys just wanna do it like this until the patch comes out? or do you want me to start another league since MANY of us picked teams based on Uni's instead of their current roster? If the majority wanna do this(and about 5 of you have asked me), I'll set up the league and just take out the 10 worst teams... That way Rocketeer can get back in and we would only need a couple more... And UTweezer would get the Rockets since this is his idea... Post here and let me know so I'll know to set one up or not... I guess the teams would be on a first come first serve basis...
Monday - free all night Tuesday - free after Rocket's game Wedneday - Company Xmas party but should be free after 8 or 9 Thurs & Fri - Should be free after Rocket's game though that will be pretty late since they are on the west coat. In terms of the league, the T'Pups are not one of my favorite teams (actually hate some of the guys on thier roster) but I can deal with it if we keep it that way. If we change it up to picking who we really would like to play with based on rosters, I don't thing first-come-first-serve is the best option. I think somehow we have to come up with a random draft order to pick your team. That would be the fairest to those who either didn't find out about the start of a different league for whatever reason or couldn't get to the system to pick their team for a while because of work or previous plans, etc. I guess if I had my opinion, we just play this out like it is, everyone just play with who you got and we'll play it as if it's a practice run for the real thing when the patch comes out. I mean, some have expressed that they are either not very good or have not played much. This would give them an opportunity to get some game time in plus gives all of us a look to see what type of players we woold like to get in a fantasy draft that fits our online game strategy.
im still confused on how to set up a date to play...i rarely see anyone post in here or the 2k league site except for a few. i like mogrod idea though. practice league so to speak and/or next time we play we can pick teams more to our liking. have a draft to see who picks who is the best way to do it.

Let's say 30 minutes after the game? oh yea... Damn your computer generated Mike James! rusHour...as far as setting it up, it goes like this. You go in to schedule and you can set up a time for your opponent to yay or nay. Or you can simply set up a time and meet up in the lobby... and send the challenge from there... and begin posting in the forums about suggestions for our league once the patch comes out.
