Atlanta could get him for Speedy Claxton and Marvin Williams. Gives them a big time player alongside Joe Johnson and the rest of their young core. They have to lose a young talent and take on salary and Philly gets a young talent and loses salary, which is what they ideally want. Philly pulls the trigger on this deal if Atlanta wants him. Trade number 3474336. As soon as Speedy's trading period opens. I actually like the thought of Denver trading for him. It would make them a little better possibly but it would also open up the possibility for us to get Maggette with some combination of Bonzi and Sura's expiring deals and possibly our first rounder. If Denver trades for AI, they cannot possibly get Maggette too. And what other teams could possibly give the Clippers a combination of expirings, and a draft pick. Yeah, Toronto could give them Mo Pete, but they aren't gonna give the Clips a draft pick. Anyways, I see Denver and possibly Minny being the players out West while on the East Coast it is hard to tell. I'm sure Philly would prefer to send him West. And they could get some expiring stuff from Denver. But I would think they would want at least Nene for AI. Something like Nene and Andre Miller for AI. I don't think they want Smith's expiring deal and a bunch of other trash players.

Iverson is out of the Rockets price range in terms of both salary and trade assets... and none of the summer trade rumors involved the Rockets. However, there will be some nice collateral pieces to pick off if they do decide to rebuild.
The president of the sixers just said that AI requested to be traded and that they will accomodate him as best as possible. He also said AI has most probably played his last game is a sixer.
