Unless Mr. Van Gundy is planning on "pulling a 2001," it is ENTIRELY up to Le$.

We will be a top team when Tmac is back to his former self.
I watched the cousin of his Vince Carter tonight, he was getting it done down the strectch by taking it all the way to the rim. Tmac needs to forget about the jumpers sometime.

    T-Mac is no Vince.
    Either way you compare it.

    what a pessimistic jackazz.

He could have said that they show flashes of brilliance, but are too inconsistent and not deep enough...oh and too soft on 2nd leg games.

I disagree about our lack of wins against quality teams...like losing to the pistons and spurs. We routed Dallas...and most say, "but that does not count b/c both teams were 0-1 and later the Mavs went 0-4 and lost Josh Howard." So what? We played them when they were 1 loss into their 4 game losing streak and WITH josh howard playing. The consensus is that the Mavs are better now and we probably would lose to them now...bs. The Mavs just lost to a quality team at home...The Pistons.
b4 that they lost to the wizards by 9 on the first leg of a road back2back on Monday 12-4-06

The Roxs lost a winnable game on the SECOND leg of a back2back on the road to the shiiTwolves

The roxs and mavs have the same number of losses at 6. I think we are doing great. I am concerned with Snyder out and Bonzi not playing though.
The roxs will beat good teams this season, book it AND take care of the shiity teams too. But, they will not go 82-0.

So Wells is not even in Houston?! So, you can get a multi-million contract from the Rockets and just do whatever you what to and go wherever you want to? What?

I like the joke, but in a seriousness I think he'll finally crack (another) smile. It is his first championship after all...

Wow. So then he wants us to be even BETTER after we win the championship...instead of much, much worse, like the Heat??? Then we can win like...4 championships in a row! In all seriousness, I would rather have a coach that is maybe a little more dour and yet definitely pushes his team to improve by never quite being satisfied than some kiddie coach that talks about how great his team is performing, even if they aren't.

So basically JVG is laying excuses for another early playoff exit next spring.

i dont see how you can come to that conclusion...oh wait i know. JVG is the devil and everything is his fault. thats right.

i dont think i've ever heard jeff make an excuse.

bash all you want, but lets try to be a little more accurate

I don't think his even laying an excuse down, the guy asked him a question right? and JVG justified why. I mean if you think about him classifying Utah as a top 4 team, means he thinks they are doing the right things. Utah's players haven't changed much in the last two seasons..........so obviously their playing has changed and things are clicking for them. Personally I don't buy all this third scorer crap that keeps going. Does it seem to anyone here that JVG thinks we are in dire need of a third scorer? Well i for one don't think he seems we do, at least not to the big need that this board seems to think. If the Rox do little things right, finish properly, make accurate decisions when shots are falling, change it up a little things like that, we would be on the same level as Utah IMO

OK, first off we are and we will be a top team period. JVG realizes you can't just praise these guys they need to stay focused and hungrey.

Bonzi is a punk and a loser period. It is embarasing that over 33% of those polled on our clutchfans poll think JVG is to blame over him not being in shape and ready to play.

The Rockets beat Dallas I think we match up very well with them. T-Mac on Dirk, Hayes on Howard, then just contain Terry and Yao and T-Mac will dominate like in 05.

The Rockets beat the Suns (we would figure them out over a series) Yao dominates, days off no back to backs.

The Rockets lose a close one to the Spurs (I think we can win but this second I have to favor them) Duncon, Manu and Parker man I hate these guys but I am not a big enough homer to say we are better this second.

The Jazz are a wildcard so I need to watch them play a few more games but I think we could take them. Yao-T-Mac are best players on the court
