Admittedly, I have not seen Rice play this year. But this guy torched my Cardinals for 37 last night, so I checked out his stats. Almond leading DI with 30.1 PPG on 54% shooting and 47% on threes. Early NBADraft.net projections have him last pick of the 1st round. If he keeps this up and he's available when the Rockets pick, can they pass him up?
he's a SG, so i dunno how he fits in our rotation with tmac and snyder, not to mention head and vspan. he is a van gundy type of player though. good shooter from all aroun the court. intelligent of course, senior...if we didnt have so much SG depth, i'd say take him. but we have problems at PG and C for the future that need to be addressed.
