To me, it seems like the mood of all the players and the coach is pretty positive. Basically, it's "Wolves did great on D, we missed some shots, but we'll get them next time."

I'm with you. They lost with a lot of class. I like that.

i said it in a different thread but it bears repeating...anytime your two superstars shoot 10-40 from the field...on the road...in the 2nd night of a back-to-back...and you still lose by only 6, things are not that bad.

wouldn't a loser's mentality be something along the lines:

"it was the coach's fault. he should've played ______ more minutes."

    or

    "i don't know why i didn't get more shots...ask the coach"

    or

"i'm just doin' my job man. ask coach about the strategy"

They played like a trash and just won by luck. No one can grab the title from us. We will be the greatest team in NBA's history and for ever.;)

Saying "We'll get them next time" after a loss is not a loser's mentality.

    1. They all admitted things that went wrong on the court - shows a willingness to improve and learn from mistakes.

    2. They all complimented their opponents - good sportsmanship.

    3. They all pointed out that they had the game in their grasp at multiple points in the 2nd half - shows that they're hungry for that win.

What about this is a loser's mentality?

Van Gundi: I'll bench Tracy and Yao for the next couple of games. If they keep doing like this 10/40, I'm gonna exchange them out!

Considering how badly the Rockets shot and how well the Wolves were shooting, to lose by 6 is not a terrible thing.

IMHO if Rafer doesn't take that 3 at the end, we have a huge chance to win the game

    "10/40.......6 point loss not bad."
"balls not fall ......will fall next time."

Losers are happy about the loss.
Losers find excuses about the loss.
Losers admit "we are weak and bad" and "they are strong and great".
Losers are bragging , praying or dreaming for the next win.
Losers don't give us the answers to "how" and "why".

    Losers hate "How" and "why".

    EX.
Why is **** loss to a lesser team not bad? WTF, loss is not bad?
How did 10/40 happen? 30 missed shots! are you nuts? not bad?

Why were shots missed? Their defense? or manhood?
How are you going to make them next time? by praying to the God?

Why are those same mistakes repeated at such a high frequency?
How come JVG can not do anything about those obvious mistakes?

I have to stop here before I am thinking about "MVP".
