McGrady and Yao for co-MVP. That would rule.

The game plan was simple. Yao focuses on scoring, and he doesn't have to waste energy on rebounding. Chucky can't score anyway, so might as well get his rebounds. As long as it is a win, baby ...

That said, Yao for MVP (see my signature). :D

Yup... if you really watch the games, you can see everytime the ball nearly hits to Yao's hands, and Chuck's there with ''I've got it............''

    Absolutely true...

What is the big difference between 9 rebounds/game and 10?! Not a big deal, is it?!

If someone who can actually help to grabe them, Yao goes to do what he supposes to do (scoring). Thats it... We still win the rebounding and win the scoring so to win the damn games. That is really the deal.

At last, Yao still for MVP... Believe me.................. :D

it's way 2 early. i don't believe yao deserves MVP. there are a lot more valuable players out there. nash is making a strong run at it again, so is dirk and kobe.

also MVP's make their teamates better. i havnt seen much of yao where he makes his teammates better. guys like shaq, TD, they command double teams and dish out to open players. yao can do this but not as well.

Actually, I think Juwan did the "I got it" more than Chuck did.

We only heard part of what Juwan said, actually. The full text is:

"I got it. [Grabs rebound out of Yao's hands] C'mon man, spare a rebound for a brother down on his luck. I NEED this or Jeff is gonna glue my ass to the bench. It's embarassing. My kids are crying watching my ass sitting on the bench. Don't make my kids cry. You are a ****ing superstar already. Go score some points and stuff."

It's not like Dirk or Boozer really had to deal with double teams. If you want to put up an equivalent comparison, I think Duncan is the only candidate. Even then, I have no stats on this, but I feel like Yao deals with more double teams than TD, because TD chooses a face up game more than using his back to the basket.

I would love to see NBA awards MVP to YaoMac duo at the end of this season. Have they done that before, I mean two players from the same team share the MVP ?

I'd rather they both keep saying I got it than see two players, yao and whoever, both grabbing the ball and end up turning it over.

Hard to get over ten rebounds when you are winning by 30 and only playing 20 something minutes

I believe they once split the MVP trophy to Stockton-to-Malone duo. Have to admitt, they weren't bad...........of course Jordan lit them up as usual in the finals.
